How does this model work re payments and does the email matter?

I'm just a little puzzled about how the payments thing works and was looking around for some advice.

I'm not used to the model where we use our own affiliate links and a percentage share with the site.  I also don't have affiliate links beyond Amazon - and I think I might start a new one just for this site.

What I'm most concerned about at the moment is whether the email I've signed up with is of any relevance re payments and if so how.

Any advice or tips much appreciated

Hi makingamark,

the good thing about this model is, that everything is transparent and can be double-checked by the author. So, no cheating possible by the webmasters and everyone gets his/her actual revenues.

The most important affiliate you should register with, is Google AdSense. That's how it works:

Sorry, the screenshots are in German ... we'll fix that very soon :)

AdSense reaches an average revenue of about 5$ per 1000 visitors - and there is nothing to do but write articles, because the ads are implememted automatically for you :)

The email address is not of importance, but the website you enter is. Since Wizzley has just startet, it might be to small for AdSense to accept it as described in our tutorial. If you have an own website, preferably use this one in your AdSense registration. Otherwise you can try it with Wizzley  or you may also open an account on blogger.com and register with that one.

Cheers,

Simon

Thanks Simon.

So basically all revenues are derived via affiliate accounts and money will go the email you nominate relating to that particular affilate account according to their terms and conditions for payouts?

The money will directly appear inside of *your* Amazon- or Google-Account and for each affiliate program you can chose the payout method yourself. It's as if Wizzley was your own website :)
