Can someone please guide on how to select specific products from allposters.com.  I cant seem to find any product number listed there.  Have tried inserting full url but wizzley does not display the product I have inserted the url of.  Also, tried the number I could see at the end of the allposters url, but it does not work.

There are two places to find the product number.

  1. In the main website, if you look at the url in your browser from the item page, the number has a small i in front of it.  If you take off the i that is the product number. I have noticed that once in a while the items in the main site do not translate to the Wizzley module.  I think that is because they have not yet been added to the affiliate program database.
  2. In the affiliate program part of the site, when you click on an item to get the html, the item number is listed in the html as item=999999&AID.  The item number is after the= and before the &.  These always work on Wizzley.

Sometimes I browse AllPosters to find stuff without logging in.

As a UK member, if I go to AllPosters without logging in to my affiliate account, I am automatically taken to the UK site. I sometimes find posters that are on the UK site but not yet available to the US site, which is where affiliates get taken to.

Just mentioning as I guess this will happen to anyone not resident in the US.

Another place to find the product number is to click on the actual product...up on the top right of the description page there is a line that gives the Product number...copy and paste and you are good to go.

Some product numbers won't turn into product pictures in our AP module. Not many, but some.

Perhaps that is what Natasha means with her note on top.

I don't know why this happens.

I just pick a different picture.  :)

@Paula - I did what you mention in the first step, but it displays nothing.  I will try your second tip though, I hope that works.  Thanks for helping.

@Chefkeem - You got that right.  It does not display pictures.  Any idea as to why is it happening.  I wanted to sell movie posters, but I guess would have to write about a different movie.

Thanks everyone for helping me!!
