Help me, please!

I'm assuming that the links are do follow

Hi everyone:

I just created by first Wizzley and I'm really enjoying this platform.

One of the main reasons that I use Squidoo, hub pages, and so on, is to create backlinks. I'm assuming that if I link to another site from one my Wizzleys, that it's do follow so that it helps me rank better on Google for the site I'm linking to. Am I right?

Also, on hub pages any links are do follow, but only if the hub page is above a certain rank. Is the same thing true for Wizzleys?

Hi Marelisa,

We do have follow links for authors with a minimum number of pages. I believe, you currently  need to have 5 approved pages. This is totally independent of your page ranking.

I see, thank you. Well, I guess I better get started on 4 more Wizzleys, then. Cool

Hi Marelisa,

we also start out with nofollow. We have to do this in order to attract quality users (like you) and keep away spammers.

After 5 approved/published aricles you will be automatically upgraded to 'trustet user' and all your links become dofollow, also the ones in your first 5 articles.

Should be easy-peasy for you, don't you think?  :)

We believe it is in everyone's interest that we shoot for top quality from the get-go. I'm sure you'll agree with our plan.

Ha! I've created 5 Wizzleys! So now my links should be do follow.

Now I guess I have to wait for Google to index them. I'm going to see if I help them along by creating a couple of links back to them. :-)

Hi Marelisa,

in order to have follow links in your *already written* articles, you need to open each text module and save it once. By that, the links inside are updated. Sorry for this extra work - we are working on that!

Also the external links inside the user profile become follow links by that :)

Hi Simon: The links that I'm interesting in are in the link list module, so that's the module that I have to open and save again, right? And I didn't undertand your second comment, coulld you clarify?

Thank you,

Marelisa

Marelisa, I think Simon is referring to the links you have on your profile page, i.e. your blogs etc.

Great info, thanks, as I was wandering about dofollow links... It is clear.

Now I am working on my 4th post... so I'll get there soon.

Regards

So if I understand this correctly, once I've published my fifth article on Wizzley, I just go back and edit earlier articles, where the links are, and click Save, or do I need to wait for a period of time first?

If you are in a hurry to change to dofollow links, you can do it this way, Cheryl. Simon is working on an automated process, but it may take another 3-4 weeks because now he's on vacation for the next 2 weeks.

I just made you a trusted user, btw.  :)

So...have you guys managed to automate the process? Or we still need to edit and save our previous articles in order to make the links do-follow?
