I have my pub-id correctly listed in my settings, but after 622 impressions and 322 unique visitors, I have yet to see one penny from adsense from this site nor does it show on analytics.  help ?

Mark

With just one page, you'll be told you're a little too quick to expect earnings, but your puzzlement mirrors my own.

I have 43 pages over five months and I do have earnings - exactly one penny.

Chin up old chap; you might match my income in time.

I don't understand what it is with Google Adsense. I make very little with them, too. Yet Katie says she gets great checks. We're being paid per clicks so maybe for some of us the ads are not tailored right to the visitors? But this is Google we're talking about. So I don't know what it is.

honestly it just takes a bit of luck and finding the right words. the right words on your page triggers the right ad that people are inclined to click on.

it also tends to be subjective, i don't do so well in traffic but ive made some money from adsense. not steady money... but then i don't produce here as often as i should

actually let me amend all this to say... using adwords can identify words advertisers pay big money for and these words are the words to use to get big money adds on your page. then optimize your page to pull these adds.

you can also use adwords tools to tell you what words the search engines see as profitable to your page

I did have others on wizzley but moved my articles since there was no income.  I do get clicks on other sites but nothing whatsoever here. In fact, i have never even seen a google ad on any of my pages when i log out and view them.  oh well, right ? LOL

Seems to me that chasing AdSense clicks by stuffing articles with key words is self-defeating. Once Goggle detects that this is being done it downgrades your listing so your articles appear on page 12 if you're lucky. It's a strategy that sank a certain content farm. I don't expect to make money out of Internet writing; it's more of a hobby for me, a semi-retired journalist who loves research and seeks to keep his brain from turning to mush. I get to write about what interests me and if I earn enough for a glass of beer from time to time that's a bonus.

@jericho911; it appears that Adsense doesn't serve ads to your article during your share of impressions. Either your account has been disabled, or you have a "Hosted account" that works only on the approved host sites.

We had a similar discussion a while back. See my answer on this thread if it might apply to your situation:

Yes i have a "hosted account" that apparently doesn't include wizzley.  Good point ! It's definitely not disabled as I get adsense money (as in about 20 cents a day) from my articles on other sites.
