I have got in a muddle over this and now 'cannot see the wood for the trees'.
I set up my Amazon link when I started to write here. My click through to Amazon increased but after more then a month with no sales registering but more clicks than ever, I began to doubt I had set it up right.
I have tried adjusting the id that I put in the settings here - in the revenue share box - (the first one I tried was my Amazon associate id from my hubs account, then I substituted a new tracker id that I made especially for here).
Trying to explore the situation further I went to Amazon - and in my associate account I went to the links and banner heading and from the drop down I selected the Link Checker.
If I try to test by clicking through on a product on my page here through to Amazon and then try to test if it is working by copying the Amazon page URL including the codes - into the Link Checker, I keep getting a message that says - Fail: The link does not correctly tag for your Account.
I am lost on what I can do to change this situation. I am aware that 50% or 60% of the time the code will be Wizzleys.
I know as soon as someone explains it, I will get that why did I not think of that feeling, but I am lost on how to figure it out at the moment.
