Can someone demystify this for me? It is so daunting that it is hard for me to even form questions but I will do my best:
1. first off, I am not officially connected wizzley to any affiliates adsense, amazon otherwise: I have, however incorporated modules into my articles- does that alone generate commission or do do I have to be officially signed on with amazon, flicker, alposters, utube, ebay, ect.
2. I followed all of the directions for signing up with adsense and hit a wall- by default adsense would not allow me to further application process without a website and did not allow me to use wizzley; neither will alposters.
Please help! I really love this writing platform and I would really like to make a dollar or two here and there.
thank you,
C

Hi rabbitagent, you need to definitely be a member of these various affiliate programs. Wizzley does not pay you directly. Some of them you may not be able to join unless you have your own website with a domain name you own. But there are options. One is Viglink. (You may not be able to access all of the merchants, and there may be a separate approval process.) Another is Zazzle. If you are creative, you may want to think about that. There are countless affiliate programs you can join.

I appreciate your response....I did sign up with zazzle, yes VERY creative, however I haven't yet figured out how to connect the dots- ie. bring zazzle and wizzley together. It sounds like from your response that you can used another website domain at the same time as wizzley, for adsense and such??? I am also building a wordpress blog (trying to demystify and navigate wp also)
It also sounds like you can find your own affiliates and I appreciate knowing that too; the site I use most for the modules is actually amazon and the only thing tripiping me up there is the tax stuff, so I am going to try to get help for that directly from them over the phone...
I was very daunted by the set-up here at wizzley, with the modules set up and such. Once I figured it out, I found it fun and creative and still do.
Thanks again,
Candice

ologsinquito,
Update: Viglink is really user friendly; thank you!!
Unfortunitely I had to use WP because when I selected 'other' it gave an error message and wouldn't let me continue. However it let me add 'campaigns"
Can you sign up with WP and also use on wizzley??
I looked over your profile clearly you have knowledge-- I admit I don't have my heart on google adsense because, apparently, what you write has to be rated G. Some of my material is PG. Is rated G standard??

Viglink needs a separate account - use it only for Wizzley.

Zazzlle will give you an affiliate code, and it needs to be added to your account. There is a Zazzle line and place to add it. Then you can use the Zazzle module and product numbers. Or, allow Zazzle to pick.
Viglink can be used for Amazon. Search for Viglinks on wizzley and you will find several good articles. I recommend Digby Adams' article.
Alposters is no longer operating an affiliate program, but they are available through Zviglink.
And, Viglink also has Ebay.

Hi rabbitagent, it's good that you signed up for Viglink one way or another. I think you can use it here, even though you signed up elsewhere. The advantage of signing up here is that I think you get a slightly better deal on commissions. Nightowl can clarify. If you're creative you'll like Zazzle. Hope this helps. There's a lot to sort out when you're first starting out.

Please read the FAQ (via link in our top menu bar) about using Viglink on Wizzley. You need to sign up for a separate account through our site, or it will not work here.

I don't see anything reguarding viglink in FAQ, except on the right hand side. I had followed that link, but was not able to register at viglink naming wizzley.

Another thing, there isn't a place to put viglink in settings- it asks for email, which I submitted though I feel like I am missing something.....
