Referrals? 5 Published Articles...still receive notice on marketing tools page?

I want to refer some people to Wizzley because I'm really impressed with the site.

On the "Marketing Tools" page though I see a warning that reads: "Heads up! Once you have published 5 approved articles you may participate in our referral program." -- but I've already published 5 approved articles (at least, I think I have, it's not clear to me what "approved" means--I've published 5 articles that are live on the site).  This page looks the same to me as before I had published 5 articles, and I've waited well over 24 hours since publishing the last one.

Is there something I'm missing here?  Thanks!

I see you've published 5, not 6, articles. So I assume that when you will have finished your 6th, at the end of the process of creating that page you will get the marketing tools to refer other people to Wizzley.

But he said 5, not 6. I don't see it at all so guess we have to wait for the big guys to answer.

After 5 approved articles, our system automatically makes you a trusted user. Apparently, our system hadn't caught up with you, yet. So I manually set your account to trusted. You're good to go. Bring 'em in and get your referral share.  Smile

Funny you mention the soup nazi- I just a while ago I found out that is a real restaurant that let them use it for the show and the recipes Elaine found in the hutch are real too. I found them online everything from crab bisk to pea soup... Me and Michelle have been talking about this a lot we're going to make the soups :)

When a visitor opens a Wizzley page of one of your referrals, 5 out of 10 times their ID is shown (so they get the credit for any purchase or ad click).

4 out of 10 times Wizzley's ID is shown, and 1 out of 10 times your ID is shown, for your 10% referral share.

There's not really a way for you to track these things, but our system works, regardless.
