Thank you, Wizzley!

I found out yesterday that my first Amazon commissions were deposited in my bank account at the end of August -- August 28, to be precise -- a day to remember!

My special thanks to all who made this possible and especially to Wizzley for providing this environment for writers in cyberspace.

My gorgeous Maine coon kittycat, Augusta "Gusty" Sunshine, was thrilled at the news last night. She's been under the weather with a bit of a kitty cold, so the news made her day. As my inspiration, Gusty receives treats from any and all of my commissions.

And her pal, Rennie, who now has turned my home into a charming, two-kittycat household, also will receive treats as well, because great-hearted Gusty always shares. Always.

I hadn't noticed "menu" instead of "mend." I'm sure it's a typo. Just as my placing this posting under "Help me, please" is accidental! I intended a general posting, so I'm appreciative of everyone who's finding this misplaced posting.

I'm not planning to tell Gusty about well wishes for her being on the "menu." 

(Although I'm sure that, if I did tell her, she'd let me know that it had to be a typo because who would put her on a menu, tee hee.)

I think that I will share this amusing confusion over mend/menu with Gusty after all. She has a great sense of humor, and humor is a great catch-all remedy.

As long as she knows that I'm a cat lover. I have to black cats that adopted me three years ago. Their name are Busy Body and Chaos. Don't want to upset her health.

It's all my fault.

I couldn't resist the opportunity for a silly Saturday Night jokelette, so I edited that 'typo' into Digby's post. (It's fixed now.) She actually had written 'mend' in the first place.

Digby, Gusty will be happy to know that you've been adopted.

Gusty adopted me. Then she brought other fantastic kittycats into my life.

And recently she waved her paw to make Rennie's dream come true, so he adopted me. 

And now I have a two-kittycat household. It's a wonderful feeling to be adopted by kittycats.
