Zazzle URL links?

Hi,

I'm working on an article, and I am trying to add a zazzle product via a URL link, which I thought would be covered by Viglink. When I try to save the text box, I have an error message telling me the links are invalid.

Are zazzle links not allowed, or is it just a glitch?

It's still the same broken links glitch.  But just recently, I've had some luck with just refreshing over and over again until links take. It may or may not work with Zazzle too.

Thanks.

I didn't know if I was violating some vile, unwritten rule LOL

Abby,

Last I knew Viglink doesn't accept the Zazzle urls - I made $30 one of the first months I used Viglink and all that money came from Zazzle links.  After that Viglink no longer accepted them and I've made nothing from Viglink.  Maybe they have changed and now accept them again?  It could have been a nice money maker, but it didn't last...! Sealed

I have many notices from Wizzley of broken Z links in my articles, but when I check, they all work.  However, I can't make new ones (last time I tried).

It's best to use the Zazzle module here at Wizzley because those links seem to work fine.

Yes, I have the same problem with links being bad when they are really not. It's really frustrating.

i checked and zazzle is covered by viglink, it says it pays a 15 percent commission. But if you say it hasn't been working for you, then I'm not sure.

I got aggravated with my article last night so I just gave up, I have to change things up if I can't use links. But today's a new day, and I'm feeling pretty mellow this morning, so who knows lol

thanks for your help dustytoes, hope you're staying cool this summer!

I just looked Abby, and yes, now Viglink is showing Zazzle in Canada, Uk and dot com.

But I believe they change it often.  I've checked a few times before and sometimes only the UK will show, and other times nothing.

I don't understand that.  I have many links to Zazzle which supposedly work but not a penny has been earned on Viglink.

Of course if we can't make URL links here, I suppose there is no way to earn from Zazzle through Viglink anyway.

I've been getting those "broken links" messages because of Amazon items. Is there a rule here about having to use the designated modules rather than putting in links for Zazzle and Amazon? I know Wizzley has to make some money, too, but the return on our efforts is mostly through selling those items., at least for me. I've been wondering . . . I hope someone knows the true facts news.

Viglinks? Zilch for me.

I believe we can make URL links and earn money at both Zazzle through Viglink, and use Amazon URL links too.

I always use the Amazon module, but that is because it's easiest for me.

As I said above, I made $30 from my Zazzle clicks at Viglink, and then that option went away.   Honestly I don't trust using Viglink any longer.  It seemed like a great option, but when the sites they cover continuously change, I don't know what to think.

I am having issues as well with Viglink links.  I get error message Invalid URL.  It can't be since I am copying the page URL of merchant from Viglink.

Our 'invalid link' checker is buggy, and we haven't found the problem, yet. What sometimes helps is reloading the page, or emptying the cache, or restarting the browser. However, this might not be the issue here. If you post the link in question we can investigate further.

I had a difficult time to get this reply accepted because of same message invalid URL.

This is weird, indeed. I tried to take out the 's' from 'https', but that didn't work, either. Perhaps someone else has an idea.

However, don't forget that we are a family-friendly site. Don't make somewhat raunchy pages - 'raunchy' in the eyes of a prude Google reviewer, that is. Additionally, the competition for your topic is through the roof. Maybe you should pick a different one.

I didn't consider it raunchy.  I did remove some of the products of lingerie that was maybe a bit low cut.  I didn't use any Victoria Secret images to because of the style of their items and was only going to use text links instead.

If there is a problem with this article, I can move it to my own site.

Just to be on the safe side ... you may want to consider moving your article. Smile
