I'm actually bummed right now that I don't have a cat anymore. This excellent tutorial of how to potty train your cat to use the toilet by Maria Petropoulos (tribute_to_erasmus) is so well written and illustrated that it seems like a no-brainer for every cat owner to give it at least a try.

I saw the city kitty toilet training product when it hit shark tank and was very amused, and shocked, I have 3 cats and absolutely hate cleaning the litter box- even with those "sifting" varieties (no touch) the smell alone sucks, and makes the house stink! I have yet to try it but it's a brilliant idea! |

Personally I wouldn't do it - potty train my cats - but that page is excellent for anyone who would like to try.
