New Wizzley author mivvy published a very comprehensive guide for budget travelers to Amsterdam/Eindhoven. Check out Cheap Transport from Eindhoven Airport to Amsterdam for that perfect mix of useful information and personal recommendation.
Am I the only one who has never heard of Wizzair before? Gotta check out their itineraries asap.
Never heard of Wizzair before; they seem to be the British "Southwest Airlines", only cheaper.
Wizzair is a low-cost Hungarian airline, operating mainly in eastern Europe. But they also have flights to and from the UK, Scandinavia and Spain. They do not use the big airports such as Amsterdam or Heathrow, but land at Eindhoven (NL), Weeze (D) or Luton (UK). When booked in advance, they have very good offers. e.g. Eindhoven - Prague is only 15 EUR. Like Ryanair they charge for checked-in hold baggage.
I thought this was a joke. Wizzair... at Wizzley.
Oops. The joke is on me. It's real.
Wizzley could enter into a joint venture with Wizzair
Sure, Mivvy. Wizzair could offer discount coupons for future bookings to travelers who submit a wizzle during their flights.
Here's your "power of attorney" to initiate negotiations...
I'd rather leave the negotations to some one else. Any volunteers?
