It so happens that after I wrote about the Botanical Gardens here in Bucharest, sockii penned an article on the New York Botanical Gardens, complete with photos and a very interesting half-hour video. The NYC Botanical Gardens are amazing for a number of reasons: the site, the extension of it, the 400 thousand species, the 600 varieties of roses, and the activities they organize for children and other target groups. Here's sockii's article. I think it deserves an Editor's Choice Award.

Thank you so much, Mira, for your compliments. And thank you to Wizzley overall for feeling like such a welcoming place to put my writings. I have been a veteran of Squidoo, Zujava and Hubpages who only wishes I found Wizzley many years ago...the environment here is so much warmer and encouraging than I have encountered elsewhere. |
