I have a difficult time finding images on Pixabay and when I do they always have Shutterstock plastered over them.

Only the top rows - 1 or 2 on each page - are Shutterstock images. Everything else underneath is free - over a quarter million images!

I will have to take a closer look.  I forgot the name of the site, but it was set up with paid images  and free images, I think below the paid ones.

I thought you were taking about http://pixabay.com

It's a great site for free images!

I was.   Pixabay has those Shutterstock images you pay for in some way.  A couple of these sites have both free and paid, which is very confusing.  I usually avoid Pixabay because of the Shutterstock images.  Maybe I have been looking in the wrong spot.

The shutterstock images are ads. The ones below them are free for use.
