Currently, we experience difficulties with Google Adsense. Please rest assured that we do eveything in our power to get Adsense back on our site. We've contacted Google and await their response. They say that it may take 3 days before someone reads our email. Let's hope for the best.
We're very sorry for your potential loss of revenue.
We'll keep you updated on our progress. Thank you for your patience.

There is always the possibility to switch temporarily to Chitika ads - that is what I did, SY

Sam,
I'm glad you mentioned this.
I just wanted to be sure it was instantaneous and I wouldn't mess up anything in doing so. So I can just "click it on" until this is resolved then "click it off" when Adsense is up and running again or is there delay involved or making a potential mess of things?
I know I have to remove my Adsense ID and put my Chitika one in on my settings - but please refresh my memory...do I need to create a specific Wizzley ID (like with Viglink) or can I use the Chitika ID that I already have?
Thanks!

I used the id I already had and it switched over instantaneously. The next days will show if there are any clicks coming in ;-) SY

Isn't chikta in a different format? I see them on wizzles and they look very different from adsense blocks, in fact the top one isn't even a block! switch it and check your wizzles... if it messes up the space I'm not changing it, but maybe this is the universe pushing us all into chikta for some reason and we'll all get a nice boost? hmmmmm 2013 is the year of miracles so watch for those opportunities folks!

Nice idea :-) For the first time ever, we've enabled our own Chitika on Wizzley. Who knows what it's good for: maybe we can properly optimize Chitika now .
Rest assured, though: AdSense will be back!
Anyways, in the meantime we've tried to pinpoint the reason for the ad blocking and came to the following conclusion: Probably an AdSense reviewer did not approve with one of our ad placements. E.g. our ad unit right above the comments sections might be interpreted as "disguised", since adjacent content is looking pretty much like the ad itself. In order to let us know, the reviewer sent a message to our AdSense account. That's quite common and nothing to worry about. One gets three days to implement the requested modifications. Without changes, the domain gets blocked.
Well, we didn't receive any message, but we assume the pub-ID of an author was integrated at the time and the message was delivered in error to the author's AdSense account. So, if you can, please take a look into your own AdSense account. There's a "Messages" tab on the left side on the start screen. If you find this message, please let us know: that could be a faster way to recover AdSense on Wizzley.
Cheers,
Simon

"No messages for you right now. If you'd like something else to read, we highly recommend the official Google AdSense Blog!"
tis all I got...
@59 cents a month I doubt this lag is going to terribly hurt my bottom line, but it will make my articles less addy :) hehe (silver lining?)

Thanks very much for the update on the ads.
I checked my account and there was nothing. I hope I live long enough to get my eventual payout!

Nothing in my messages there. I suppose it could have been sent to someone who never uses forums.
And situations like this are why Wizzley does need a newsletter!!! SY

I did receive a message saying that my account was on hold until I'd entered my pin, give my bank details and confirmed my address. Presumably this is standard though?

That's not it, Hollie. However, you may encounter difficulties establishing a new AdSense account with your Wizzley-ID. There are some new regulations coming. Simon will report further on this as he gathers new information.

I am just hearing about this. What is going on? Adsense took their ads off? Doesn't make sense to me that they would take ads off an entire site and message a user, instead of the site.

We're still at the stage of throwing around different theories, Paula. Hopefully, Google will soon reply to our correspondence. For the time being, we recommend switching to Chitika.

Glad to see this thread. I logged on last night - the first time really since the end of August - and freaked out when none of my articles had Google Ads running on them. I thought it was something that I did or needed to do since I had been absent for so long. Whew.
Just checked my Google Account and no messages.

Paula,
I think the "theory" (again, just a theory) is that, because we all use our own Adsense ID's on Wizzley, someone could have reviewed or reported one article - and whoever that article belonged to, THEIR Adsense ID received the warning/notice (unlike a place like Squidoo where we can't use our own IDs).
