I've had comment moderation running on all my blogs and websites for a very long time and have experienced very little spam as a result I couldn't spot the bit to tweek to turn this on while contructing a page. Do we actually have scope for comment moderation? If not, is that possible? Katherine Tyrrell is makingamark. My art blog Making A Mark is rated #3 in top 25 art blogs in the UK.

I'll bring it up at our meeting, Katherine. However, since our site loads so fast and it takes only a few seconds to delete any unwanted comments, I actually find that method more practical than having to go through an approval process for each and everyone of my comments. It's more an issue of what happens if you're not around to moderate your comments published in real time - such as if you're away on holiday or busy with other things. I have a zero tolerance for spam on my sites - and have never had any published. Maybe a bit of an extreme - but I really don't like it.

Many thanks. I guess what I'm looking for is just to have the scope for the option of moderation - not that everybody should have to do it. Just for people to have the choice. Thanks for listening. From now on, comment moderation is an optional - and I would say very useful - feature! Thanks for the suggestion!
