I might have done something cool, I don't know yet.

Have any of you heard of RebelMouse?

I was checking my stats and saw I got a hit from it but didn't know what it was.  I checked it out and think it might be something good for us.

Basically, you sign in with twitter, google+, facebook, pinterest, etc then it goes and collects all your posts and sets them up Pinterest-style.  I only signed in with my Wizzley twitter (I only use it to tweet my new wizzles, nothing else) and it immediately went and pulled all my links in my tweets and set them up, photos and all.  Actually, about 40 Wizzles didn't make it so I put them in manually.  Tomorrow I am going to go back and add keywords to all the panels/tiles and move them around a bit and change some pictures.

A regular person can use it as a personal webpage and add all their social media sites then give that link out so people can see everything.  I won't be doing that.  People like us can use it as a showcase for all of our online projects.

You can have a few accounts linked together.  I may add my cafepress shops and a blog to separate but linked pages.

Here is what I have so far:  brl on rebelmouse

I'm not quite sure how people find you, both on RebelMouse and if it's got any search engine mojo or not.  Haven't worked that out yet.

I did a bit of reading about it and it seems legit and something that will be big.

Check it out.

Woaaah.... Please don't tell me that was intentional Jo?

If it was, please tell offline friends and go to the doctors. I know that people don't like going to the doctors for depression because they think that they can deal with it themselves, and often they can, but when/if things get to that level then it is time to go.....

If it was some freak accident then panic over, but please do confirm either way....

Note the link in my signature: the one that says "Humagaia's Social Sharing". That's my link to Rebelmouse.

Something that has not been said is that you can incorporate your Rebelmouse page / links into your WP sites; websites; and various other places like Blogger, Tumblr, Weebly, Posterous, & Squarespace.

There are two basic formats: additions to the bottom of your pages; incorporation into the sidebar of WP.

For Wordpress instructions go here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/rebelmouse-widget/

For links to information regarding the installation on other sites: https://www.rebelmouse.com/rebelmouse/how_can_i_embed_my_rebelmouse_-96294026.html

You can see a Blogger example here: http://artcraftproducts.blogspot.co.uk/

You can see it in action on one of my websites (at the bottom of the page): http://findfreearticlesdirectory.com/

Hope this helps.

Oh dear!  I'm so sorry!    I dropped that in casually, intending to have a bit of a laugh, telling you how I fought off zombies or the unicorn apocalypse or something.   Then I got side-tracked onto another forum, where it got a bit heated.  I'm kicking off so much, that my friend eventually gave me a wry reality check with this.

And until this moment, I'd totally forgotten that I'd left that picture link here.  -.-   But thank you for having my back on this one.  It is great to note that if I was suicidal, you'd be there to help me. <3

Is it a bit late to say that I sustained the injury fighting off zombies?  Because the reality is really quite boring.

Well good to know that it wasn't what!

I even messaged Chef Keem!

(he said that you don't seem the suicidal type, which is good to know I guess, lol)

I meant as in don't hurt yourself, as in falling down, cut yourself shaving, that sort of thing.

Ryan - That is very lovely of you, thank you.

Lana - That's close enough!

It was a box.  There was a line of packaging across the seam.  I used an open pair of scissors to slash across it, as I've done a million times before.  Then called myself all the noobs under the sun, as blood was everywhere.

Fortunately, I'm a First Aider.   Compression and hand up in the air.   It stopped bleeding really quickly and, two days on, it looks like a scratch.

I now just need a really good story to explain away the eventual scar.   Anyone got any ideas?   The more interesting and outrageous the better, I'm thinking. :D

Darn you, Jo! I was up all night because the emails kept coming in:

"OMG - do you know HER address? We must send an ambulance quickly!'

"Shall we hire a psychiatrist?"

"From Maine it's not that far - I'm rowing already!"

and even:

"I know a good book about suicide prevention. Can I add my affiliate link?"

Next time you know better than to leave us hanging.  Smile

Some on the lines of "blood sacrifice" perhaps? ;-) SY

Was that last line an intentional cynical joke or just a coincidental double-entendre?

I'm really glad I just came onto the site now - after all this has been settled to everyone's relief.  Remember - you have an experienced therapist here if anyone needs to consult about emergency situations.

Intentionally coincidental, I think.  Undecided

I'm blaming you for my panic Ragtimelil, you validated my initial concern by being seemingly worried too! Tongue Out

So how do you guys like Rebel Mouse?  Do you think it is worthwhile?

(Jo, hope you heal up soon, and thank you for having a bandage on when you got that picture.  I may have passed out - in fact I almost didn't click.  I wouldn't make a good nurse at all.)

I don't know yet how effective it is.  I got the initial rush of hits as it added every article, then 3 more hits from it today (so far, according to my wizzley stats).  I need to work out how to make it work for me.  I also added my life coach twitter and a book recommendation twitter and blog I do.  I haven't linked the three of them together.

It's super easy to set up and maintain.  It automatically gets your tweets (and/or whichever media you add) so you don't have to do anything at all once it's set up.

Another quality marketing tool.  Why not, eh?

And Jo, I didn't look at your picture.  Not gonna, no way.  :)
