Here's a great article on the steps you can take:

That's so much less vitriolic than my version of combating plagiarists!  I ended up with a stream of e-mails from both begging for mercy.  But I was all out of compassion by then. :)

I am bookmarking both articles -- the one you recommend, chefkeem, and yours, Jo.

I haven't check recently for plagiarism for most of my articles, because it just gets depressing, and it takes a lot of work to get results.   But I have lost traffic on some pages that used to be much more successful.  Time to take a look again.

Thanks Chef for the link, but I never really bother much about taking content down as I realized that it just wastes time. It doesn't do much harm as those sites usually don't last long.

But this is an ingenious way to go about it: http://www.portent.com/blog/random/stop-plagiarism-in-3-easy-steps.htm

There's a catch that I didnt think about earlier lol... If you do it on your site (All pages from now on or something) then you're gonna have to go back and delete that part of the code from each page before you change the image lol.

But it's still gonna be super fun to see it in action.
