Luau Themed Kids Birthday Party Supplies, Decorations And Party Favors

I have noticed that most of the luau party supplies available online are pink and more suitable for girls birthdays. If you are looking boys birthday party supplies, maybe you can skip the party supplies in pink and do the neutral colored decorations as much as you can. This is a suggestion, but if you have more ideas for a boys luau themed birthday party, you can share them in the comments section below.

Luau parties are usually done outdoors, so birthdays in summer and spring seasons can be easily planned with luau theme. Luau party can also be planned indoors at other times of the year when the weather outdoor is cold. Luau decorations include lots of tropical flowers, including the use of lei - a flower garland made of tropical flowers to greet the guests. Lei are also used to the decorations. So make sure you have lots of tropical flowers for decorations - either real or artificial.

You can get some flower lei too - which you can make on your own with real flowers or you can easily buy sets of artificial hawaiian lei online. The popular tropical flowers for luau party decorations include hibiscus flowers, plumeria or frangipani, orchids and tube roses.

Also make sure to play some nice Hawaiian music so the kids will enjoy the entire party and they can also dance with the Hawaiian tunes.

You can also use other tropical themed decorations using tropical palm tree decors, seashells or beach themed decors.

See the below luau decoration sets from Amazon.

Grass skirts are traditional Luau party dress, but today you can get grass skirts to decorate the party table. Decorate the birthday table using the grass table and set the mood by playing Hawaiian music. In the first set of party supplies that you see above, you can get both the grass skirt table decoration and also a giant decorative garland or lei. The second set contains only the grass table decor, so if you want to buy the decorations separately, you can go for the second one.

Buying the first set is a good idea if you want to buy the decorations in one package, and the long lei is 100 feet so if you have a large backyard to be decorated it is nice to have a very long lei to decorate easily all the area. The set also contains 144 paper cocktail umbrellas so you can save some money if you go for the package.

Luau birthday parties are not complete without the lei. Kids and maybe adults can also wear the artificial Hawaiian lei for the luau birthday party. You can actually use the lei to welcome your guests for the party - since that is how guests are welcomed in Hawaii and especially for luau parties. Greet your guest with an Aloha using a nice colorful Hawaiian flower lei.

The Hawaiian lei set shown below on right Amazon contains silk flower lei, so colorful and soft and they come in multiple colors. The set contains 50 flower lei and they are perfect for your kid, yourself, family and friends including both children and adults.

The product from Amazon on down left includes the tropical luau themed hanging hibiscus flowers floral swirls for decorations.

You can make Hawaiian luau themed decorative birthday banners or welcome banners yourself by decorating the easily available banners with artificial lei or tropical flowers. Otherwise, you can also buy online a tropical Aloha banner to welcome the party guests. If it is a girl's birthday party, you can find the pink colored luau supplies here including the Happy Birthday banner.

The birthday girl needs a tropical Hawaiian themed costume. Either you can go for the luau themed dress which includes the traditional grass skirt, or you can go for a comfortable summer dress with decorative tropical flowers which you can reuse later.

The beautiful dress that you see on right is printed with decorative tropical hibiscus flowers in solid blue background. The dress is available in different colors and different sizes suitable for kids of different ages.

After the decorations and costume, now you need the actual luau party supplies - the paper plates, napkins, cups and stuff like that. See below the pretty pink colored lunch paper plates designed with luau party themed designs for your birthday girl. The designs look so girly and they are perfect for a girl's birthday party.
