Omron Blood Pressure Monitor: Smart Choice For Home Use

by Bexley

Hypertension increases your risk for heart disease and stroke, so it's important to monitor your blood pressure regularly. An Omron blood pressure monitor is a smart choice.

If you have problems regulating your blood pressure or currently taking medication for high blood pressure, the Omron BP652 7 Series blood pressure wrist unit can help monitor your blood pressure at home and help your doctor make informed decisions about your health. Hypertension (high blood pressure) increases your risk for heart disease and stroke, so it's important to monitor your blood pressure regularly.

Let's take a look at the Omron BP652 7 Series monitor and see why this unit is a good choice for home use.

Omron Blood Pressure Monitors

Reliable and Easy to Use

Omron blood pressure monitors have been around for many years and considered a reliable brand. I've used an Omron upper arm blood pressure unit for several years and have been happy with its performance.

Several months ago, I noticed several doctors, dentists and health care workers in my area were using the Omron wrist unit in the workplace. They were very appealing ... easy to use, accurate and portable. When researching online, I discovered the Omron BP652 monitor had many positive reviews. After comparing several different brands and models, I decided to purchase the Omron wrist unit. I'm happy I made the right choice!

Omron BP652 7 Series Monitor Wrist Unit

Product Features

Heart Smart Technology: The Omron BP652 7 Series blood pressure wrist unit has smart technology - Intellisense. When you place the monitor on your left wrist and hold your wrist at heart level (across your heart), the unit activates automatically. If you have it in the correct position, the light turns blue and starts to inflate. If the light turns orange, then it needs to be adjusted. When used correctly, its very accurate.

Detects Irregular Heartbeat: The Omron BP652 7 Series blood pressure wrist unit detects an irregular heartbeat. If your heartbeat is irregular, the unit will show a "heart" icon to alert you. This is a great feature!

Two-User Mode: The Omron BP652 7 Series unit has two user modes. I love this feature! Two people can monitor their blood pressure separately on this unit and the internal memory stores up to 100 readings (with date and time) for each user. A switch on the right side of the monitor can be set on "A", "B" or "Guest". The unit does not store readings for guests.

Adjustable Cuff: This model has an attached cuff that fits most adults comfortably. It has a Velcro closure, so easy to use.

Power With Batteries: The Omron BP652 7 Series blood pressure wrist unit takes 2 "AAA" batteries (included). *Note* I just replaced the original batteries after using the monitor for seven months.

Portable With Carrying Case: The Omron BP652 7 Series blood pressure unit comes with a white plastic carrying case. It's easy to use at home, at work or while traveling.

Warranty: The Omron BP652 7 Series blood pressure wrist unit has a five year warranty, which was an important selling point for me.
