Product Description: Frozen beef and Italian sausage lasagna from the Kirkland Signature brand, prepared either by baking the lasagna in the oven or cooking it in the microwave. I purchased two of these lasagnas at Costco this past weekend for $12.99 and made one of the lasagnas, in the oven, last night as a dinner-for-two for my wife and me.

Review
I had to take my oldest daughter to figure skating practice last night and my wife had to run some errands with my youngest daughter. As a result, since I knew it was going to be a late night, we decided to just get the kids something from McDonald's and we would have a dinner for two later on.
We did some shopping at Costco a few days ago and, while there, I picked up a pack of two Kirkland Signature Italian Sausage and Beef Lasagnas. Since I figured that would be an easy choice for dinner, I decided to make one of them.
When I first purchased this product, I did, admittedly, have a few doubts about it. I thought the price seemed to be a little on the high side, especially since we were shopping at a discount warehouse, and I wasn't sure if it would be worth the money. However, as it turns out, the lasagna was surprisingly good.
I wasn't sure when my wife was getting home from her errands so I elected to make this lasagna in the oven. The instructions were simple enough to follow (something that isn't always the case) and, as far as cook time goes, the hour or so the lasagna required wasn't anything that was overly inconvenient.
When it came to overall quality, it was pretty obvious this was a frozen lasagna and I think I still prefer fresh-made. But, that being said, this was definitely one of the best frozen lasagnas we have purchased. It had a great blend of seasonings in it and plenty of meat and cheese on it. These things made it much more enjoyable to eat than some of the other frozen brands we've purchased that turned out to be edible but very bland.
I was also very surprised by how filling this lasagna turned out to be. It didn't seem any larger than the others we've purchased and, because of that, I figured my wife and I would have to make a salad to go with it. However, we only managed to make it through one serving of this each (albeit a larger serving than what was recommended on the box) before we were feeling full. I'm pretty sure this was from the quantity of cheese and other toppings but, regardless of the reason, we ended up with leftovers. And, that, alone, was enough to make this lasagna worth the money since we ended up getting two meals out of it.

Final Opinion
As I mentioned before, the price almost prevented me from purchasing this product. However, after trying it and discovering it offered both quality and quantity for the money, I would definitely purchase this frozen lasagna again.

StevenHelmer, Thank you for product lines, pretty pictures and practical information.
This beef and Italian sausage lasagna can help for those who like the merging of flavors and ingredients in mixed-meat lasagna. I must cut and merge two different lasagna dishes since I often opt for preparing one-meat lasagna.
What else would you all serve?
I, too, thought the price was high, but if the product was really good, then there's your explanation. I recently made some cannelloni from Edenia (don't know if you have this brand) and while they were good, they were too greasy. I am now about to try some lasagna, also from Edenia, I think.
My kids love lasagna, thanks for the review of Kirkland brand.
