Product Description: Frozen lasagna in meat sauce dinner from the Michelina's brand that is prepared, in the box, in your microwave. I purchased this lasagna dinner at one of our local grocery stores earlier this week when I found it on sale for $1. I prepared it last night and had it as a dinner for one while waiting for my wife to get home from work.

Review
I don't eat frozen dinners very often because, normally, I prefer to eat the leftovers in the refrigerator so they don't go to waste. As a result of that, I don't purchase frozen dinners all that much.
However, I was grocery shopping the other day and saw the store had Michelina's frozen dinners on sale for $1 each. I thought this was a good deal and I knew my wife would be working Saturday night so I ended up purchasing some of them. This included the Michelina's Lasagna in Meat Sauce.
As I mentioned, my wife had to work Saturday night and, since there weren't that many leftovers in the refrigerator, I decided to keep things simple and make some of these dinners for the family. I ended up picking the lasagna dinner for myself and, for the most part, thought it was a good purchase.
I had some doubts about the overall flavor of this product, mostly because of the low price. But, it turned out to be halfway decent. The lasagna had a good blend of seasonings in it that gave the dinner a little bit of a kick without being too spicy. This was a little surprising, to be honest, because I've found most frozen dinners tend to be a bit bland.
Another thing that really surprised me about this product was the quantity of meat in the sauce. Most frozen brands of lasagna do tend to skimp on that and I figured a cheaper brand like this one wouldn't be an exception. However, there was quite a bit of meat in the sauce, making it much more enjoyable.
The only thing I wasn't overly impressed with when it came to this frozen dinner was the quantity. This, admittedly, wasn't all that surprising given the price. However, the dinner wasn't very filling and I did have to look for something else to eat a short while later (fortunately, we happened to have a couple turkey legs left in the fridge).

Final Opinion
As I said, the quantity was lacking a bit. But, the overall quality did exceed my expectations and I would recommend this dinner as a result of that, especially if you are able to find it at the same price I did. I would just suggest picking up some bread sticks or a salad to go with it.

StevenHelmer, Thank you for product lines, pretty pictures and practical information.
It's disappointing that the quantity falls behind the quality lasagna, meat and sauce. It's nevertheless helpful to know when all I need is something quality to extend what I've made fresh, for more guests or for more re-serving requests.
Would there have been a tasty way of combining the lasagna with the turkey legs in one sitting?
