Review of Our Family Brand Sweet Tea

My wife really wants me to cut back on my Mountain Dew drinking and, as part of that, I ended up looking for some alternatives while we were at the grocery store this past Saturday. After looking at a couple different choices, I ended up purchasing a 12-pack of the Our Family Sweet Tea.

I ended up picking this particular product for a couple reasons. First, I figured the tea would keep my caffeine/sugar cravings under control (the main reason I didn't simply switch to drinking water). Second, I liked the price, which was about $1 less than some of the other, better known, brands I could have also chosen.

When I brought this home, I wasn't really sure what to expect from it. I've had other products from the Our Family label in the past and, while there are plenty I enjoyed, there are some out there that I wasn't a big fan of. And, I couldn't help but wonder if that would be the case with this tea. However, as it turns out, it was actually a really good purchase.

One thing I liked about this tea, in particular, was the way it had just the right amount of sweetening in it. I can't drink tea without some sort of sugar in it. But, I've also had plenty of similar brands that went overboard with the sugar and, while I like sugar as much as the next guy, I do have my limits. This brand was sweet without being too sweet.

Another thing I found I liked about this product is it does seem to quench my thirst. Again, this isn't always the case with products like this and I've had plenty that left me feeling just as thirsty. The fact this manages to provide me with a refreshing drink is a big plus in my book.

As I said before, I wasn't really sure what to think about this product when I bought it. However, after trying it, I can honestly say it is one of the best tasting iced tea drinks I've purchased. And, the fact it was also one of the most affordable makes it well worth buying again and recommending.
