Swim Suits for Plus Size Women

by BrendaReeves

Today's plus size woman proudly displays her curves. Fashion designers know what she wants, and they delivered the goods: Stylish swim suits that make her look sexy.

Plus Size Women are Beautiful Too

Plus size women joined forces a while back and demanded their page in the glamor magazines and they got it. Marketing professionals now recognize that these women spend money just like their thinner counterparts. The revenue pours in as designers produce clothes that flatter curves. No longer do curvy women settle for balloon fashions that make them look double their size. They want clothes in beautiful, vibrant colors and attractive prints. They want swimsuits that make them feel beautiful, and beautiful they are in these modern designs.

Aquabelle Skirted Suit

Take a look at that little pink and black number to the right. Every well-dressed woman needs a blue swim suit.  Wear that to the beach, and the men in their Speedos will notice you.  You can also get it in black and purple. It's made of nylon and spandex. Washing directions suggest by hand. Of course, if you want any swimsuit to last, it's best to hand wash it.

Glam Metallic Accents Women's PLUS SIZE Swimdress

Every woman needs a little black swimsuit and this black swim dress with glam metallic accents by Longitude delivers the goods. It's actually a swimsuit within a swimsuit and fully lined with tummy control. A full tank swimsuit under the swim dress streamlines the body. It's made of 74% nylon and 26% spandex. Imagine wearing this under the tiki flares during a hot, sultry evening by the pool under.

Aquabelle Bathing Suit

This suit demonstrates how a plus size woman can be feminine and sexy at the same time. You'll be a hit at the beach wearing this.

Infinity Blu Coral

Plus Size

If you love soft colors, you love this swimsuit. The coral color makes a feminine statement. Did you know that for most of history a well-rounded woman was considered sexy, perfect for childbearing and a great cook? You'll send the message on the beach and at the pool. You'll cook for the right man. You go girl!

I couldn't wear the bikini because of my belly fat - but the others are nice. I like to wear tankinis - they hide the bad bits but are still a convenient 2-piece.

Thanks for the comment Katie. The world is made up of all kinds of different bodies and everyone should celebrate the one they have.

I'll pass this along to my plus sized friends, nice to see a plus size woman can wear a bikini. I think they are more slenderizing than most one pieces.

Terrilorah and Wisefool, I wouldn't wear that bikini either, and I'm nowhere near the size of the model.
