Angry Bird Fancy Dress Costumes
Angry Birds have taken the world by storm, although this mom has no idea why! My dd absolutely loves Angry Birds and every time one of her uncles came over he’d hand her his phone and she’d be in Angry Bird heaven. When she got an ipod touch she was really excited and busily uploaded her music to it and then something happened.
I downloaded one of the free versions of Angry Birds to her ipod while she was at school. When dd arrived home and looked at her ipod I thought I was going to be nominated for a Mother of the Millennium Award! Personally I really don’t see what all the fuss is about, but then my dd doesn’t really get ‘Space Invaders’ so I guess we’re even in those stakes!
One thing is for sure Angry Birds have arrived and they have taken over so why not join them and become an Angry Bird this Halloween?
It’s hard to believe that the Angry Bird app was only released by Apple in December 2009 because it feels like they’ve been around for much longer. There are a few different Angry Birds costumes which makes it a great group costume to wear.
The Red Angry Bird is the bird that I’ve seen when I’ve tried to play Angry Birds on my daughter’s ipod………I’ll admit I really don’t see why this game has won so many awards, but it can become a little addictive when you’re trying to beat your score.
The different birds each have different strengths and once you’ve passed the easy levels with the red Angry Birds and you get access to the other birds you need to use each bird to the best advantage.
The Black Angry Bird looks like a bomb and that’s exactly how you can use him/her – does anyone know the sex of the Angry Birds?
The Yellow Angry Bird is fantastic at breaking the yellow colored beams of words and can also speed up if the screen is tapped after firing them.
Choose your favourite Angry Bird color and dress in that Angry Bird costume, but wait there’s more……you can also buy a Pig King costume, but who want’s to be the Pig King? This is where the group will have to draw straws to see who has to be the Angry Bird’s foe for the night!
Poor King Pig and to think if it wasn’t for the Swine Flu that was doing the rounds as the game was being developed he could so easily have become a King Cow or a King Horse instead!
Have fun at whatever fancy dress event you’re participating at with these great Angry Bird costumes, there are sure to have everyone talking. Make sure there are no life size slingshots around though or the night could get extremely messy!
