Sucess / Victory Thread

I thought it might be fun, and encouraging for new people here, if we post our achievements / successes/ victories in one thread we can point people to. That way they can see what kind od success you can actually have on Wizzley without the need to search / jump through different threads. No matter if YOU think your victory / success/  achievement is big or small, post it here for the encouragement of others! Here my victory of today, and please add yours:

• Published my 50+ article on Wizzley.
• Received my 5th editors award on Wizzley.

The last one is huge for me as I am not a native English speaker, so getting that kind of recognition really makes my day ;-)

WOW  Sam, that is amazing, Congratulations to you.  I have nothing to report in way of success other than carpal tunnel. Maybe I should take a break, shift gears a bit.  I do hope this inspires someone.

I just received 2 Editor's Choice awards in one day for articles that had been up for a while.  It was a very nice surprise.

When I read this thread the other day I didn't have anything eventful to share.  However, this evening I received $30 from a Commission Junction sale.   Very happy!

I really have to start writing more Wizzies, I have just been so busy with other projects lately!

Actually had (a couple) of Amazon sales from Wizzley already! So I am going to put lot more Amazon articles on here :)

Congratulations to everyone who's posting here. Reading these really keeps me motivated. I've not had any major sales. But everyday a little more shows up in the sales reports.

Congrats Janet and Scaevola.  Digby, I used to think I would never make any money online.   Now I challenge myself when I do not make any money in a day.  Anyone who puts the work in can see results.

I just had a first!  I got 1000 hits in one day!

Well, actually it was 1101, but the milestone is over 1000.  The bizarre thing is that I haven't posted an article in 5 days either, because I've been up Liverpool.  This is not only being carried by its own momentum, but gaining speed.

I have always hoped I had set up Adsense and Viglink to work correctly here.

Yes, I have because today -  I can see my first few pence in Adsense from Wizzley and I can see a sale on Viglink and where it came from.

Thanks Jo, it was one of those moments when you get confirmation that you did follow the instructions to set it up correctly. For me that is important, as the only help I get with learning how to do this and other things here is from the Wizzley writer's their articles and posts and the great Wizzley team here.

Recently discovered that Viglinks has more feed back on their stats. page now than when I first signed up.  It has been improved, I think it is better and  might be helpful in the future.

Sats. there are now showing where the clicks are from in more detail. As well as where the click was from the clicks show in three ways -as affiliated by them or not, or already affiliated. Still only that one sale though but it is enough to keep me curious as to how good it might be in the future.

This isn't a monetary or viral success, but it made me feel good:

The other day I wrote about an event that took place in Oslo that was, to my thinking, a really uplifting and clever way for some Norwegians to send a message to Anders Breivik who killed 77 of his fellow countrymen last summer, mostly children.

I found one of the two ladies that organized the event on twitter and sent her a link saying I hope she liked what I wrote.  She just wrote back that she liked it and retweeted it.

It makes my heart happy that she liked it.

I've had a secret goal for a couple of months.  Of course I want money, which is coming in (yay!),  but I also had a little silly hope that finally came to fruition this morning.  Since I started following Wizzley on fb I had hoped that they would post one of my articles on their fb page.  Woke up to see that happened today.  I know it probably seems silly to most of you but it makes me feel like after watching so many others get linked to I finally wrote something somebody thinks is good enough to share.  Have a great day!  :)
