That's so interesting that the Pope Leo XIV inaugural Mass is in Latin.

Pope Leo perhaps manifests American- , Haitian- or Perurvian-accented Latin even as my four-year pre-college Latin perhaps memorializes American-accented Latin!

Might Vatican and Vatican-City Latin maintain Italian accent?

The introductory paragraph advises us that "The Royal Canadian Mint produces circulating coins, commemorative coins, and bullion coins in platinum, gold, and silver." even as the 10th subheading, The platinum maple leaf, alerts us that "Platinum coins in small sizes with a Maple Leaf design are among the few platinum bullion coins available. Unfortunately, platinum bullion coins are not sold through the Royal Canadian Mint’s online store."

Does not platinum have greater value, is more expensive, than gold?

If so, might that matter in not making more platinum-content coins available?

The pope's inaugural mass is currently being held in Latin.

No.I have never used it.

The regnal name is the personal choice of the elected cardinal.

The third paragraph to the first subheading, The candidate, begins with "Leo's choice of his regnal name."

Is the papal name impelled only by its bearer or is it indicative of such input as from Vatican cardinals?

Going back almost 10 years -- !! -- in your comment boxes, I find my fighting-garden-problems comment that "As an arborist, I know that the use of any two of three strategies -- controlled burns, extreme pruning, glysophate treatments -- will stop any invasive in no more than 1 to 3 years. But I refrain from using Roundup since experience with kudzu and tree of heaven control prove that the first two work very well, individually and together."

The other day I found a book in the library section about wild edibles. The book in question honors kudzu as a craft-, meal- and tool-maker in its native lands.

Kudzu as a plant is quite unpopularly unsightly with the way that it masks and murders understory and canopy vegetation. As an arborist, it pains me to perceive stag-heading trees perishing under kudzu.

The kudzu book queues some recipes that I quite relish.

Would kudzu-worked crafts, recipes and tools have wended their way into your family garden and house or Veronica's and her husband's garden or United-Kingdomers' gardens in general?

I have not kept up, but I do know Leonard died, his wife was called princess during her life, but it was doubtful any claim could be passed down.

The economy was to print money, exchange for Australian money with tourists, and often have tourists keep Hutt River money when they left as inexpensive keepsakes, which often happened. They then had Australian money to spend elsewhere. They also exempted themselves from taxes and quotas imposed by Australia.

Demonstrating the Abbey would be pointless and tactless. So no.thebCatholics see Westminster Abbey as a place fit for Catholic worship. Relationships between the two churches are good.

Absolutely fascinating. I love this. It was all new to me at the time. Ty f8r the reminders.

It is used in the Star Trek theme song, and I like the scifi sound.

Old British law was adopted by Australia when it was part of the commonwealth. It provided it is treason to interfere with a person of riyal title setting up a government. The problem was made worse for Australia when he was addressed as Prince Leonard. Australia tried to stop him by refusing mail delivery, but that did not work. The loophole in the law has now been removed, and those who followed him found no law backing their claims.

How some countries seem to operate is to sell the rights to use their country name to "legitimize" commemorative coins. U. S. possessions are not allowed to mint their own coinage, but use U. S. coins. Some island nations do not even accept commemorative coins as money.

My mulling about Pope Leo XIV and Westminster Abbey arises from Big Ben and Westminster Palace as Bing image of the day yesterday.

Westminster Palace next-door neighboring with Westminster Abbey caused me to consider online sources calling the latter a Church that Edward the Confessor (1003?-Jan. 5, 1066) constructed.

Did the Catholic Church deconsecrate Westminster Abbey? Does the Church Saint Edward the Confessor Shrine designate Catholic Church-designated space?
