Scott, I appreciate you sharing your experience or rather your daughters experience. I think you make a very good point. We should be careful to identify this with our children and head it off giving them better coping options. Beauty is a unique quality in us all, and yet any of us can behave in a beautiful manner. Beauty is only skin deep it's how you react and act that really makes your mark. :)K

Oh my Katie, this strikes a nerve. I have a beautiful daughter who is smart, hard working and a very kind well mannered young lady. There are some not so unattractive girls at her school who are mean and treat her badly. She feels sorry for them and understands they suffer from low self esteem. I feel this starts at a young age. Parents should consider what they are both allowing and teaching their kids to do. These young women will grow up with a low self image if they are not approached and helped to deal with the jealousy they act out on. A good attitude and postive self image and out look goes a very long way to success in life and the work place.

It seems those who are jealous of attractive women don't think their feelings are known to others around them. I'd like them to know it is obvious when someone is jealous of others, the look on your face alone is a dead give a way. You are not fooling anyone but yourself. Treat others as you'de like to be treated. Period!

Sorry I got a bit carried away but this is a touchy subject with me.
