The 40th Anniversary of the Legend of Boggy Creek
It's the first one that I heard of. That's why talk of this reminds me of childhood, watching this film on the television. I'm very old. LOL

Are We Too Paranoid About Mary Sue?
I'm getting an education - I had to look up "fan fiction" on Wikipedia. I've heard of some actors never reading reviews of their plays or films; perhaps authors shouldn't either. You can never please everyone.

How to Sun Dye with Kool-Aid
Well, you might have to wait awhile - got a lot of project on before I get to that one. Might be more efficient if YOU give it a try and let US know. If I know me, I'll probably forget about this idea in a day or so unless someone reminds me. :)

I've never tried it on cotton, but try it on some little piece that you don't care about and see what happens! Let us know!

How to Live on $1.25 a day
If there was public transportation around here I'd be using it. Alas, I'm stuck with the car and that's my biggest drain on my resources.

Natural Dyeing with Pecans and the Chinese Tallow Tree
I'm thinking I need to try something besides brown. Ever wonder why clothes back in colonial times was so drab? Actually, drab was a specific color back then.

Natural Dyeing with Pecans and the Chinese Tallow Tree
It's interesting to see what you end up with when dying yarn from natural ingredients. At least you have a lot of sun down there in Texas to help with the drying part. The pecan brown is very pretty.

Author Score : Relevant or Irrelevant?
I place great import on tweets. They may be fleeting in terms of immediate impact but if undertaken consistently they attract many non-human viewers. These viewers (search engines, scrapers [the good ones] etc) can have a major long-term impact ...
