Movie Review of Inception (2010)

That's one of the things which makes this movie so intriguing. What if it could happen? :o

Let us know what you thought of it, when you've seen it. :D

Lego Figures

Batman Lego is the best selling toy from the building brick manufacturer. Hardly surprising really that DC comics and Lego have combined to promote the Caped Crusader (I prefer CC to the Dark Knight). Thanks again, Katie, for visiting my articles.

Avoid Co-Dependency The War on Addiction

A very helpful resource for anyone in a difficult relationship. Sometimes you do not realise that you are codependent. Excellent work, as always.

Lego knows a good thing when they see it. They now have a special set of 9 Olympic Minifigures on sale to tie in with the 2012 London XXX Olympiad. great for collectors, young and old alike. Thank you Katie for your visit and comments.

Pardon My Grammar

Funny. I wish I had been writing down all that my friend said. She was a hoot. I don't see her now that I've moved.

Pardon My Grammar

I love your article, Ragtimelil! If people really thought through what they were saying/writing, we'd all be having a belly laugh or two or three a day at our own expense. I find as the years go on the malapropism can increase in frequency as we grapple to find the right words. I love your examples. Now don't go taking yourself for granite: go out and reek havoc!

Pardon My Grammar

The misuse of "to" and "too" is one of my pet peeves too... ;)
I have a good friend who exchanges similar words and it's so funny. She doesn't realize it either. Sometimes I point it out to her and then we both laugh. (ex. "I got my magazine prescription" instead of subscription!)

Clever Tricks of Creative Writing: Word Crafting

I definitely recall learning about sibilance from you...it got a book thrown at me! :D But your example with the baby was really cool! Of course you could pull off making a baby sound entirely creepy. Sibilance is really cool.

"I was once writing a scene where the protagonist was fairly religious. He was also in love. I was attempting to convey that this relationship felt holy to him." Haha, we were just re-reading this together the other day XD

So writers are magic! What with all the tricks they use :p

These are always some of my favorites of your articles to read, even thought I'm not really a writer. It is just really interesting :)

Rain Gutters - There Are Two Types, Roof Installed And Gutterless Rain Catchers

I love that rain capture system. I hate to waste water.

Movie Review of Inception (2010)

Okay, I've got to watch this on Amazon today. When you look at the advances in technology today, like being able to move an artificial limb with your mind, I say anything is possible. If our government can figure out a way to get into our minds, they'll do it.

Pardon My Grammar

These examples come from all over. My boss was one who used "peek" and "peak". Made me laugh. And I thought I misheard my friend when she said she was a ferocious reader until she said it again. I'm not immune to mistakes either.

Clever Tricks of Creative Writing: Word Crafting

Anything that you write tends to be impressive, so I have no doubt that your creative writing will be too. <3

Black Snakes in Virginia

When I was a kid, I kept snakes I caught as pets. It was tricky though because my mom was terrified of them. I worked on a goat ranch in Texas that had a rattlesnake problem. The owner bought and released some king snakes to get it under control. too bad they didn't eat the scorpions in the tack room...

Pardon My Grammar

I appreciate your policing the area. I admit I'm the first to go off half cocked with some creative writings that pump through the veins of my brain often leaving out the basic structure which is good grammar. Thanks for the reminders and knowledge so many of us fail to realize. Much appreciated.

Clever Tricks of Creative Writing: Word Crafting

Very interesting. One of these days I'll try some more creative writing. I'm stuck on how-to's right now but I love reading a good turn of phrase.
