Kaj - We're such good detectives! Mind you, that inscription was pretty blatant. I'm definitely up for going again, now that I know ALL of the history.

Kate - Pick me up on the way! I want to see that ceiling.

Ragtimelil, in that case (lap, not table) the chopstick method might actually work better, or simply a spoon or fork in one hand whilst the other keeps the book open and turns the pages ;-) SY

I added a link in " No plastic containers in the microwave." in my list of what cancel cells thrive on (and what not to do)... and an article list (like you did, didn't think to do that) near the top

This was really interesting.

I remember reading that during the big s-corset craze women sometimes had their lower ribs removed to help with the size. Horrifying.

I also remember my drama teacher saying when he used to be a union stage manager, he helped make some outfits for women who were prostitutes in some play (I forget which). He made them by hand the old fashioned way. He said they were so tight he honestly wouldn't be surprised if they were a bit bulletproof. I can't imagine trying to live with something like that on me all the time.

I'm super glad those lades were daring enough to try out trousers/pants. I only own one skirt and am glad that's all. Kudos to them.

I want one of those clips!!!! I've tried everything to keep books open. It's doubly difficult if you don't have a table and are eating off your lap on the bed...

Interesting history, I'm going to add it to the list!

I have a great vet. He doesn't charge for office calls. I have four dogs and two cats. I have to keep all of them on heart worm preventative. That stuff costs a fortune. I have heard that cats that are kept indoors all the time don't need the vacinations. I really want to make mine indoor cats, but I have the doggy door. I'd like to get rid of that except then I'd be up and down all the time letting four dogs in and out.

Wow - this is brilliant! You have found out so much more since we went. And it seems we were right - its more of a case of it was built despite Cromwell than done with his permission. So interresting Jo - well done xxx

We should link them to one another, I'll do that now :)K

Fun decorating theme, Lou.

I find the economy based on money which even doesn't exist, pretty fascinating. I mean borrowing should be related to responsibility and i think our age is probably least responsible of all. I know a lot of people who got jobs only to get a credit. They used the credit to buy a car. They need a car to get to the job. They need a job to pay out the car.
Are we going in circles here?
Another fascinating fact is lack of financial education in school systems. I am talking about basic financial education, something similar to the facts in this wizz. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I have heard about the show, mostly when they got awards, but never seen an episode. Thanks for heads up on this. Sounds like great fun!

Actually, a pair of jeans will, but not much else...

Why thank you.

Win! And please do. :)
