Jasmine, Oh that sounds very familiar :) So good to have you here, thanks for stopping by.

Hmmmm wonder if it will help my poor dog with his skin infection..

I enjoyed reading your biography :) People around me sometimes feel forgotten, too - it's because I spend endless hours on the Internet. When my hubbie sees me turning on my laptop, he says: "Oh, you're going into the tunnel again!"

Mythbusters. We must get them on it. :|

The Pixar Brave Toddler doll and the Adventure doll are so cute! I see you've reached a 100 wizzes! Congratulations!!!

I need a third hand to hold the plate/bowl. ;p

Much food for thought there.

So true. You have to think back before people even had washing machines. I think the plunger works better than a scrub board - easier on the hands at least.

Love Gandalf, The Lord of The Rings is such a great read and movie experience. I was in awe of the series brought to life on the big screen. Had to have the DVD's is a great movie to watch any time and yes the books are an important first. :)K

It's all good, these articles belong together :)

What a handy thing to know. I will never worry about going without clean clothes again. It's so good to know how to get by without the many modern comforts we rely on, we lost power here in Ohio for over five days with bad storms producing high winds. You never know how long a loss of power may last. thanks :)K

Brenda, Good point. I have the same issue, when I first got our dogs for my girls we fully intended to keep them indoors, they go out all the time and now prefer staying out side more so than indoors. Their happiness is what matters and so they spend a lot of time outside.

Will we ever see their like again? I very much doubt it, they were amazing. Elenor Rigby was my favourite.

My kids read it too, we had to buy separate copies but we all enjoyed it very much. Thank you katiem2 for visiting this hunger games article.

Hi Kari

Yes, it is utterly horrific to imagine having to wear those corsets; and I'm very glad that trousers came into fashion in the end. I'm wearing my jeans right now.

It's an interesting theory that they were bullet-proof. I can't think who'd volunteer to find out though!
