terry, you are so right. When a family member was first diagnosed, I was the same way. Now I understand it so much better and know that people with mental illness are no different from people with any other illness. Thank you for reading and commenting.

I gave up sugar a week ago, because I got a call from my Drs. office saying my glucose level was high. I never kept sweets in the house until my mother moved in with me. She is addicted to sweets. She'll go through half a gallon of ice cream in two days. She's almost 90 and not overweight and her glucose levels are okay. Anyway, I went off sugar cold turkey a week ago. I haven't had any withdrawals at all. I can turn food off in my head. I detest the expression "comfort food." I really just eat to sustain myself.

I believe lichens are one of the ancient sources of pigments... It is good to know about natural sources, although many synthetic colors became very popular. Wish you good luck with your experiments:)

Good info. My wife is bipolar, and makes no attempt to hide it. She is very suspenseful in life, just started working on her phd in bio chem. She has had her battles, most recently with a job that treated her very differently and would not give her the accommodation that were required by law.

The world needs to get over there fear of mental illness so people that have problems can feel like they don't have to to hide things and get the help they need/want.

A friend of mine has just written her dissertation on a similar subject. I should persuade her to make it public (on Kindle or something), so we can all read the results. She got a first for it. :D

To my mind, it's definitely a cat and mouse tactic. All over the fansite forums too, the same sentiments are being aired. No-one is going to support Solomon's Store until we can be sure that everything will remain cosmetic. No-one can trust that it will, when SoF smashed over a decade of trust in Jagex.

It's sickening to watch everything crash and burn, after so many years loyalty. The emotional attachment to Runescape has been absolute. It saved my sanity and indirectly gave me a job. I've made great friends there; and watched others grow up throughout their teenage years. Now this.
