Sara, I'm not really that good at budgeting. I really do scrape the bottom of the barrel a lot. I've been lucky though. Something has always come through to help me out. I don't like leaving it to chance though. Even another chuck of change a month would help.
Jerrico, roving is what spinners buy to spin into yarn. I would buy it white and then dye it and sell it.

So there's hope for me? I'd be willing to work my tail off if I knew what I was supposed to be doing. It's starting to make more sense, though. I've only been at it about 45 days. I was selling dyed roving on Ebay to spinners and doing ok but when I lost my house, I also lost a place to dye. It takes buying raw materials too and didn't have money for that. I did make some money with farmer's markets, but moved and lost contacts and a little part time job. So I'm pretty well at the bottom. But nowhere to go but up, right?

I worked my tail off to "crash course" learning this online thing (started Jan 2011) but in addition I've been selling books online for years (ebay/amazon) so all of that combined pays the bills (which are few)...so yes, there is cash leftover - not a boat load, but enough to be comfy...more of an emergency fund than I had when I lived in a house...which was...um...zero. :)

Is this easy enough for a woman to do?
