Take Some Time For Tea

Hello Vincent! Wonderful to hear that you enjoy tea and good company. I love herbal teas myself and drink it all the time. High noon tea sounds lovely. I find the world of tea to be intriguing. So much to learn and so many different kinds of tea to choose from. Hugs to you my friend.

Shabby Chic the Swedish Style

Hi Vincent! I do not really see you like the guy that would decorate his home Shabby Chic. No, you definitely have a more manly flair and will decorate your new apartment with class and style. It's funny, but I had actually pictured your style with lots of black, I wonder why?? ( smile) and silver, with touches of purple, dark red, and/or hunting green. Your words now proofs me right. Your Japanese Sushi sliding doors to your private bedroom sound intriguing, and is there perhaps a welcome sign on the door? In Japanese, wink, wink! Oh, you know I'm just kidding with you, my friend! And I hope Colin will too!!! I would love to sit at your balcony in the company of the two most brilliant poets there is in Canada, and share a bottle or two of red, while we put our imaginative minds together and write poetry, and with that I mean poetry, only!!, Lol! hugs to you from me!

Mung Bean Detox and Weight Loss Soup

This is so interesting. How did you find out about this? I may have to try this. I don't know if I have the willpower to stay away from other foods for 3 days, but I may try it. This sounds cool!

Healthy dental chews for dogs

Good article! Fortunately my dog has stopped chewing furniture and slippers/shoes few years ago - but I give him bones or chew sticks regularly (OK, maybe this is the reason why...).

Don't Shop at CostCo

I live 3 blocks from a Costco and I love the place. I use a networking concept to shop, however that allows me to not go overboard and yet still get everything I need cheap. I have about 8 friends/families that I work with and once a month we build our shopping lists, bring our empty containers (from when we once bought things the expensive way) and devise a plan.

We all like the same things so we use this mainly for the staples like meat, bulk items (for refilling those containers with the same name brand stuff we bought the expensive way), and on hollidays we do this for candy and treats we split.

One of us is the "store" and budgeter of what to get for the lot and this person consolidates what we can buy in bulk and what we can't.

Things like cooking oil tend to be expensive but in bulk it's almost wholesale. The one with the shopping list figures out the cost divvied up and comes up with a budget for each person to meet the bulk costs-

It sounds complicated but we've done it so much it's just how we shop. We buy the large containers or bulk sets and in the end we each save hundreds a month and get just what we need for that month (some elect to get several months worth of oils, flours, butter, etc...). I end up personally getting 600.00 worth of food for 300.00... and it gives us all an excuse to come over to one of our homes for a bbq where we spend an hour doing shopping business and the rest of the time enjoying eah others company. Great article!

How to Potty Train Your Cat on the Toilet - Cat Toilet Training Tutorial

Thank you for the kind comment! When it comes to answering your question, I would consider a number of factors before deciding to train your cats; are they all young cats or are they older? do they tend to learn new tricks easily? are you patient enough to see them through a very steep learning curve (probably with a lot of accidents and mistakes?) My thoughts are that while it should be possible to accomplish, toilet training 5 cats simultaneous is not a job for the faint of heart, and i myself would probably not embark on this journey alone. Cats tend to take their cues from one another, and so if training stalls with one, the others might regress as well. Similarly, it would seem to me that monitoring the toilet bowl for the purpose of keeping the water flushed would seem like a full time job (my cats will not use the toilet unless the water is fresh). You may wish to consider an automatic flusher -- they're a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth the peace of mind (especially if you're out of town for a couple of days!) Every cat has its own quirks, and I probably have not seen them all, either. All this to say that it's a worthwhile endeavour, but your situation seems to pose more challenges than most. If you get started, let me know and I'll offer whatever advice I can!

Things to Consider Before Buying a Loom

Well, we were discussing scarves for tomatoes with wigs, and which loom to use for weaving those scarves. And then we got side-tracked. Okay, let's stop it. Other people's comments are looming already...
