Jasmine, by native language, I mean target language of the translation. If your expertise is French language and are a citizen of France, then opportunity is first given to you than other translators who are not the citizens of France for translation of English-French.

There is a place to hook up your certificates for your language skills. So add them and ask the OHT team to review them. They are really helpful and will reply you really soon. If you are not a native speaker, then I guess you have to give an exam. BTW, I work with Nepali and English. Although the demand of this language pair is not as high as Spanish and German, I get a project or two every week or so - so it is more of a side income than my regular income. However, some Spanish translators reach the daily limit of 2000 words every day which is more than $100 per day.

I didn't know that soap origin dates back to time before Roman history of soap-making. You motivated me to do a little research and now I know that after Babylon, ancient Egyptians used to create soap-like substances, and then the Romans.

I'm in the process of learning more about how to make natural soap. If my project turns out to be successful, I'll try selling my home-made soaps. Thanks for the tip about Zazzle - I didn't know you can sell them there, too!

I watched a documentary once on Indian Remy human hair extensions. It was so interesting and informative. Indian women sell their hair or cut it as a sacrifice in a temple (but that hair still ends up being sold for processing) at such low prices; the hair is then processed and then sent mostly to Europe where it is processed again. It's funny that their price increases to almost a $1000 when it's ready for ultimate sale (to an individual client).

Ken Paves and Jessica Simpson line has synthetic hair extensions made of fibers that are heat-friendly so you can style them the way you want. Human hair extensions are much better, I agree, but synthetic Jessica Simpson hair extensions are a great alternative for women on a budget.

Your haircut looked much better after the second visit. Those hours spent in the salon were definitely interesting :)
