This a fantastic Article. It outlines the real benefit of the Cultural Background of Fairy and Folk Tales. I love it. Tales from Africa and the Mayans in Central America as well as those from Europe, Eastern Central and Western, Asia, etc etc. should be studied to see how the culturese differ.

Well, to be honest, as I already said, Weebly is not perfect, but in my opinion it can play important part in our on-line presence like one solid football player (not a star!) can play his part in a winning team.
We all like to win, right?

Shakespeare is not called the greatest for nothing. His plays are endless source of inspiration for generations of great, good and not so good authors. My official profession at the moment is dramatist and from that point it is almost my duty to know at least some of his plays.

I can say I had hard times reading his scripts although they were translated by our greatest translators. Then I found a book where his plays are presented in form of tales. I believe it was written by Charles Lamb.

I think this is one of options: know the story first and after that read the script. Don't worry if you already know 'who done it' (after all, we all should know how Romeo and Juliet ends, right?), because at great stories we will always find new angles, nuances and points and of course reflections of today's issues.
And there is another way to introduce Shakespeare in our reading repertoire: with numerous parodies, some of them really good and inspiring.

I guess everybody should find his way and nobody should not at least try to read The Bard:)

Thanks Tolovaj. Please do not misunderstand what I mean when I say a Patriarchal/Matriarchal Society. When you have some like, for instance, Gold Meir, Maggie Thatcher, Indira Gandhi in the past or Hilary Clinton and Angela Merkel today, they are NOT changing the Society from Patriarchal to Matriarchal they are merely changing their own Feminine state to reflect a Patriarchal Society through themselves.

The Matriarchal Society Cherishes and Nurtures Human Beings - the Patriarchal uses force to control and subdue.

Many of the so-called experts on Matriarchal Societies cannot see this distinction.

So nice to find you here! I remember the buzz and hype of Expo '67 - was too young to go on my own, and we lived on the West Coast then. You are so lucky to have been able to see it all!

All things related with genders are problematic because we are biased. Yes, we live in patriarchal society (o.k., most of the world), but we can't say women have no power. In many cases (I am not saying these are the majority) men are only puppets in ladies' hands, doing the dirty jobs just to achieve something ladies wish but don't want to get dirty.
We are imperfect and this is bad because we are not only doing mistakes but apparently don't learn anything from them (or we are at least very slow learners). Can we admit our imperfection which is necessary condition for any progress and try to find all the options it opens?
You made good story. Maybe more stories like yours can change our attitude?

I have grown up with fairy tales. I loved them as a child and I still do. They are just a wonderful source of inspiration. This was such a great article, and I just hope by reading this, it will help parents to understand the importance of introducing fairy tales to their young children, since it will help the child to grow in mind and soul. I know, because it has helped me in the most positive way.

Masters or Doctors Graduation is really special moment in one's life. You made good points on finding the right gift and i believe we should think also about durability of the gift. This is even more important if we are looking for a present for somebody really close.
So if we choose something less personal (but maybe in given situation just perfect) like money, at least go for a nice card with warm message to accompany the gift and try to catch the moment in a nice photo:)

Hello Brenda! Oh yes, the coffee has to be good quality coffee, otherwise I rather be without. As you may know, Sweden is the country that drink most coffee in the world, and we are very picky when it comes to our coffee, and because of that, we have an abundance of different brands of good quality coffee.
