Wish writing was this simple for me, the longest I did (fictional) was like two thousand words and that was like the most I could do (then again, it was a school essay question and we weren't really required to write beyond ~500)

Thanks for the insight, it could be the same in my case too. Can never say unless I give it a try.

It might just be me, but it takes writing the novel to actually develop the characters and story-lines. They come to live shortly after the last line. That's the cue to go back to the beginning (if you're looking to publish) and tweak it.

If you're having fun writing it, then that will translate to your readers.

Mind you, this is just the way that I do it. It might not be the same for everyone!

I've never heard of Shiseido Skin Care before this. It was fascinating to read about the history of this company!

Ya good point, if at all I want to publish it one day I can go through it and hopefully that day I'd be a better writer too. Never thought of it that way :)

Ah, we're two of the same here then. In that case, I recommend not spending weeks over the first page. Just charge on and write! Unless, of course, you're the type who enjoys getting it absolutely perfect.

Anyway I'm not going to be publishing my book even when it's completed at least not for a few years as it's a real pain doing so here in India. If I do publish it on Kindle and smashwords or just about anywhere else, I'll need to get some documents and stuff.
