You are so crafty Marie! Love these sweet cupcake cards.

It was tough to choose but I think my favorite was the monkey love cake.

@Teddletonmr that's a really good question! I imagine it probably has a lot to do with whether its country cousin is allowed to roam free outside or not. If the cat is house bound (like my kitties), i imagine they would have no alternative but to adapt to the new potty arrangements, whereas cats left to roam do their business where they please and may be less inclined to learn this new party trick. I'd love to hear from someone who's tried it! @Moondbeam, thanks! I read you Cat vs. Dog article and I think it'd make a great connecting article for my tutorial; I'll try to work in a link to your page sometime today :-)

Thank you very much @brl and @katie. I had great fun making these cupcake cards :)

I'm glad this will be helpful brl. I love art too and there are so many great resources around for kids. (I admit I bought a copy of Katie Meets the Impressionists for myself - and love it. I've been giving many of my children's books away. But not that one.)

I agree Katie. Fractions are such an important math skill for everyday life. As a music teacher fractions came up constantly - and I had so many older students who didn't understand the basic principles of fractions.

Tolovaj. Great point toddlers need to get out and go. The ease of added structured play benefits we the parents.

It really depends. I guess toddlers like everything when they are in the right mood: sand is for creation, water for partying, gardening for some contemplating...
Best of all: kids don't need much to have real fun!

Nice to meet you, katiem2 and thanks for encouragement!

I love these monkey birthday cakes, cupcakes and ideas. My daughters have long loved monkeys they have so many with the bright colors like on the cakes, love the first birthday cake.

Card are especially important to remember to give on Mothers day as Moms love to keep each and every card her children ever give her. Keepsake treasures.

What a great way to add to Mothers Day, thanks for the great tip!

Walt Disney was a great visionary, he was such a positive and wonderful person who brought so much to so many. This is a great first article here, what a nice tribute to such a wonderful man.

Thanks BrendaReeves, Walt was very interesting man indeed. And I didn't even mention his role in politics:)
