I never knew of the five-fold kiss, but I do know I have heard speak of things like initiates are expected to perform sexual acts, and that Wiccans were very sexual in nature, and like to run around naked and just have sex with each other all the time, and have like servants/sex slaves (and even versions where the servants were minors). You know, dark depraved weird things, and its like oooh scary, don't even befriend a Wiccan they'll possess your soul >.>

Then again many of these same people believe homosexuality is contagious....

But still, one has to wonder the source point of such bizarre rumors, but as soon as I looked into it, I found that one of the first thing sites/books addressed were that there were no initiation sex acts, so on and so forth. Anyways, your explanation here explains where these such misconstrued rumors likely originated. Interesting.

As far as the death penalty, I don't support it for children or adults, but there is something about convicting a child as an adult in anyway. I know an argument is that they deserve it, because they were "making adult decisions," when they did something like murder, but I just don't agree with that.

This makes me think of children in the US who are being trafficked. Its interesting that according to US law it isn't prostitution, but automatically considered to be trafficking for any child under 18. Yet, children coerced onto the streets are often picked up and convicted on criminal charges. Instead of getting help, they are imprisoned.

Yes it definitely needs a middle ground. Each country is struggling these day to keep their heads above water, financially. We want others to buy our goods but don't want theirs flooding in, Same here in the UK. I have n idea what the answer is. Interesting read

This can get a little messy. Do you reject Christian values, or just the blind adherence to faith that can result in slowing progress (which can result in inhuman activity)?
If you don't reject Christian values outright, maybe something good can come from religion?
There are zealots in all camps, even in the Humanist movement. I think that once you think you have the answer, you are about to find out you don't.

Very good article, and timely for me. Over the years I have noticed persistent pesky problems with web pages. Sometimes fiddling (as in using Compatibility View) with settings would work, but there were a lot of troubles with seemingly no explanation.
I recently changed to Google Chrome. What a difference! The browser runs faster, is easier to maneuver, and I swear, not a single problem yet. I have been running this baby for about 3 months now. I wish I had changed long ago.
