Hmm might have to make some suggestions to the hub! He loves these genres. I balk at them, admittedly, but he has convinced me to read a couple and when the topics is done right and done well, Fantasy can be very impressive.

Thanks ladies. I'm a Mom to boys myself, but I also have two young nieces. One of them in particular loves Lego.

Looks like we have a few Hobbit fans here! I'm having a brilliant time reading the book to my five year old. We've just got past Gollum. I think the film is likely to be too grown up for him though which is a shame - if it gets a PG rating I'll be looking out for early reviews. Ah well, there's always the DVD in future, well more likely online streaming by then.

Lucky you Lis! You could write the first review of the film her on Wizzley then, unless we have other NZ based members here of course ;-)

Oh, yeah! The Dragon Lady, one of my favorite fantasy/science fiction authors, together with Marion Zimmer Bradley, but her Pern series lacks the rest of the magical ingredients like elves and dwarfs ;-)

I think its released a couple of day's earlier in New Zealand - Jackson got a lot of stick for not having the first LOTR world-wide premier in Wellington - so he does let us see it first now!

Just heard Billy Connolly has been cast as a Dwarf

I think I read the Narnia series before the Hobbit- I was probably about 10 or 11 - but I was a bit of a book worm! I must admit I've never finished LOTR and The Simillalrin (sp) was worse! I think I then went on to Anne McCaffery- she has dragons doesn't she?

You're very welcome. Like I said, I can't claim to know it all, but writing your first 50 articles on any site does tend to focus the mind on the best practice. I hope this proves useful to you.

Good luck in your writing endeavours!

Thanks Ron, that is appreciated. Keep commenting!

These are too cool. I don't wear glasses or contacts so I have never used anything like this. Makes my eyes water to think about putting contacts in them. I have seen people wearing them.

Yes, this is a difficult issue but one that needs to be dealt with head on. There definitely needs to be a better balance. It's not fair to companies who have to pay higher wages because of min. wage requirements and other legislation. You make interesting points.

I see no problem at all with your "commenting" article - in fact, it takes what I had to say to another level, more detailed. I appreciate that we are on the same wavelength as many people seem to be from the comments on my article. It's wonderful that you have joined us on Wizzley - we really value quality writers like yourself. - Ron P.

This is a hugely helpful article. You have written it in a very clear way. You have taken into account many different situations (i.e. if you don't have a Gmail account, etc). I followed your article through and am ready to get data as soon as I have written 7 more articles. My account is created, though. Thanks a lot. I vote this up!

The sad truth is that it depends on the country. If you're a G8 country, then the entire of the UN can kick, scream and officially denounce their actions, but little else happens.

If you're a small nation that someone in the G8 hates, then all kinds of sanctions get imposed.

I didn't know that about child prostitution/trafficking. It certainly looks like a double standard to me.

Someone performs the five-fold kiss on the initiate. That someone is usually the High Priest (if the initiate is female) or the High Priestess (if the initiate is male), and they will be representing the God or Goddess respectively.

I should also clarify that most of the time, these kisses don't even connect. They're more likely to be kissing the energy/aura around the initiate.

Nothing you've said about rumours and misconceptions surprised me. I think I've heard them all by now!

Thank you for looking into it. So many people just run with the rumours.
