I have some writing here, Squidoo and HubPages, and have to say Wizzley is my favorite. On the writing side of things, my articles seem to come together faster for me than they do on HubPages or Squidoo. I've also been surprised by the fast indexing and numbers of people showing up from the search engines in a short time.

One more note, the writers and admins here are a great bunch to work with. I'm enjoying meeting new online writers and working on Wizzley.

By the way, you have to have pearly white teeth to wear orange or else your coffee stains really pop out. Time for me to get a teeth whitening.

I always think of Art Deco as angular, stylized, more masculine than feminine, Jazz age. You have chosen well. I find Arte Nouveau to be more feminine, personally. Perhaps an article on that style would not go amiss.

Your advice is obviously born out of experience. I believe that Amazon sales only occur when you create an article designed and titled to promote a buying response. If one gets a purchase from an information article it is by pure chance - and those come about once in a blue moon.

To get sales you must be a salesman. You must use the vocabulary of sales and promotion. If you review a product favorably (with it's foibles noted) then tell the prospect that it can be purchased HERE. If you compare products then place a buying opportunity next to each item, so that when you hit the buying point the prospect was looking for, then they have a chance to purchase.

One must also consider that you are a conduit between your prospect and the great Amazon multistore. Your task is to get them to press ANY product to get them to Amazon. It is then up to Amazon to sell them ANYTHING. And they have a myriad of extremely talented marketers and software designers who have developed methods we have not even dreamed of, to get those prospects to part with their money. And not necessarily for the product they selected from your Amazon article.

Motto: get them to your article and, as quickly as possible, off to Amazon.

You do not want them reading too much of what you have to say. That is purely for the search engines to index against and rank for.

Use all the wizz bang tricks (not deceptive) of the trade that you can muster as close to the beginning of your article as possible. The best product for the job should be the first you promote! Give it the hard sell. Do not hold back. Do not be shy. Make it as tempting as possible so that your customer cannot resist clicking the item.

Always think what it would be that would make you click. And that is what will motivate others.
