WOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Enough said.

I know someone who collects concert tickets and has them stored in an envelope at the bottom of a dusty old draw, so that one is on my list for their next birthday. Thanks for the idea.

I find buying 21st birthday presents the hardest, so you have given me something to work with for next time. Love the glass roses!

Some great gift ideas for the menfolk. The bible flask is a bit naughty but I imagine it would be quite popular with some! :)

I would go for the gift basket, it looks so yummy.

These are great ideas, I'm sure any 80 year old would be delighted with any of these gifts. Well thought out.

Really interesting article, thanks for doing all that research. The young girls are going to have a ball with this one!

Thanks for this. I need all the help understanding this that I can get.

Happy to help Katie, let's all work to keep the planet green!

This is amazing. WOW I see so many lawnmowers out on the sidewalk on trash day. I just know, after reading this, they could have been saved, running mowers you could sell for profit. What a great idea for a young person to earn money and take care of the planet. I know my lawn mower will be in the family a long long time now that I have your handy amazing guide to repair. How to repair a lawn mower is priceless information and something I never thought of before. Thanks for saving the planet one mower at a time, now there won't be so many going into our landfills that should still be mowing. Katie

So do I, many more articles to come. In the end, all this investment in books and movies needs to be good for something ;-)

I too love Harry Potter, Oh how grateful I am to J.K. Rowling for having created such a magical experience.

*high fives* I was there! I didn't have a computer at home at first, so it was sneaked IGI searches at dinnertime or hiring time on the library PC. You got half an hour to get as much printed out as you could for 10p a sheet.

It feels like we're showing our age here, but all of this was only a decade ago!

I really enjoyed reading this article! I too remember the dusty old archives in the bleak days prior to the internet. There is nothing as amazing as seeing an original document signed by a 18th century ancestor and touching (carefully) that same piece of paper. However, I was so excited when the IGI first went online that I spent every lunch time at work frantically writing data down to analyse when I got home ... my "real" work really slowed down for a fortnight but the boss never knew why!

Yes this is what I like about them, the quality of pictures and the quality of articles.
Thanks for stopping by.
