I've had dogs will skin allergies and had to treat them with prescription medication.

A lot of people get dogs not realizing they are work. They think they can stick it in the backyard and it will raise itself.

We're still not there yet are we. For me one of the most important issues is equal parenting. It's great when men can share childcare equally - and if they're pulling their weight at home then it gives women a fair chance at work!

That's brilliant. I see a lot of online writers with very low aspirations. Just assuming that you can make some real money puts you on the path to working out how to make that money.

I opened a lot of windows and disappeared back upstairs, behind a shut door, in a room with the window wide open too. I had a bit of a headache for a short while, but that went away.

I knew the source by then. It seemed that someone had started to leave our house earlier, started up his van, then realised he'd forgotten something. He left the front door wide open, with the exhaust pipe on his van outside, while he ran in to get it. Then he closed the door and drove away, leaving exhaust fumes floating through the hallway.

Your article was useful and funny as well - it made me laugh! When I first started writing at Squidoo, I got bogged down in all this SEO 'stuff' and I couldn't understand why, when I'd done everything right SEO-wise, I still got little traffic. But then it slowly dawned on me that we should be writing for people. If other people find it useful then it will get shared and eventually traffic will build up.

I am having loads more success since I've gone more with my gut instincts and have just written articles that I want to write. Some do well, others don't. But some that don't take off initially can sometimes pick up. I had one of these articles the other week that went viral on Twitter and I ended up getting over 1000 visits in a day. That was amazing.

You are very inspirational. I'm starting to feel how good it is to be something more than just a wife and mom. And actually how nice it is to finally have some of my own money which I've earned online that helps towards the bills. Thank you :)

Excellent article, I like especially the point about 'I care about stuff being useful to the target audience.' I think that is the whole 'secret' of affiliate marketing, writing stuff that is useful for people. And if they trust your judgement, they will buy from you. But if you only try to sell the 'shiny star' chances are that they don't trust you and don't buy from you. Thumbs up!
