Really FuturisticWriter - I love the research side of travel - having all the facts in my head it seemed like a good idea to write it all down - particularly as stuff is changing so fast!

I'll write more pages over the next few weeks!

I enjoyed reading your article. I can relate so much to what you are saying. I get bored easily with something that I have no interest in and then it's not fun anymore. I like fun!

I'm a huge NCIS fan! I had figured some of these out but it's cool to see some that I missed!

Thank you very much, Melanie, and I'm glad that it will help you. :D

Wow, this is fascinating! I knew that some sea creatures bioluminesce, but didn't know that maybe 90% of deep sea creatures may glow. I also think it's interesting that it might be bacteria within the creatures that cause the bioluminescence.

This was a great article. I've just gotten into IM and this information should help.

It's great to see that there are still percolator around. They were so popular here in the 60's and 70's and then seemed to disappear. There's nothing like a the smell of coffee brewing in a percolator - fond memories from my childhood!

Terri - thanks for the comment and stopping by and sharing with the boys. They are truly fascinating creatures to watch!

Oh thank you Susan for both the excellent comment and becoming a fan. Yes I am indeed excited about this new site and have a venue I can dedicate to Ufology and Theology. This is a really great site and I look forward to seeing your post as well.

Totally bizarre! Its a useful denomination -every other vaguely equivalent currency has it as far as I know! What I wonder is why the US still have notes (bills) for $1 and $2 - Australia, NZ, UK - we got rid of them over 10 years ago - they are coins because of their low value (the notes cost more because they have to replaced). I wonder what will happen to places like Burma when the US treasury works out the cost effectiveness of getting rid of them!

When my boys were babies we started watching nature documentaries with them and they became fascinated with nature. Sea creatures are a favorite, probably because they are so different and well, weird. I'll pop back when they're around and share the videos with them.

Thanks Paul. I took your advice when buying my Kindle, and went for the 3G.

I know several people who collect brooch pins. These pugster ones are very pretty, I love the sea snail.

Thank you @lakeerieartists - I hope you give the jam heart cookies a try, they're pretty easy :)

Hi Wizza - Indeed it is! Though some of these are so ornate that you'd be loathe to eat your soup with them. <3
