It does indeed, FuturisticWriter. In fact, it should apply to anybody writing on the internet today.

Yuk - no I couldn't drink it! I cook with it - but i'm not even that keen on dunking bread in - tends to ruin the bread!

Not yet! But I got my nieces a charm bracelet each when they were tiny and buy a charm for them each year.

Do you ever read MarksDailyApple? It's Mark Sisson's site. It's not my website. The guy is awesome. Former world class athlete. Author of Primal Blue Print.

My weight loss secret is to eat only nourishing food. Even my junk food is nourishing. Today I consume a half dozen or so home made dark chocolate bars. I make them from raw coconut oil, cacao powder (the stuff from Azure Standard) roasted cacao beans and coconut sugar.

I eat a lot of home made pro-biotic foods too like home made kombucha tea, fermented vegetables, and fermented miso. Most of my coworkers think I am really weird. I just laugh and think to myself "At least I can eat all day and not put on a pound".

Dieting does not work. Just living a nice relaxing lifestyle, blogging, a little exercise, and good food works wonders.

I love the hot lips lamp! Great article and very timely with Valentine's Day just around the corner. And yes... all of your items are so "cool". LOL

Sounds like using a thermal carafe will keep my coffee hot all morning without the need of keeping my coffee pot turned on saving on the power bill. I like that idea, coffee in one and tea in another, now that will keep everybody happy.
Thanks for the idea. Mike

What are your trying to do to us coffee lovers? I thought I had everything that I ever needed for making a decent cup of coffee. Now you show me this cool device that I have to get for the coolness factor alone! Do you really own this yourself? Can I take with on camping trips? How about on the next flight to the moon?

Love the dragon dust! I also like your attitude and feel like I am the same. I have been worried that I can not find a niche as everyone says I need to. I just want to write about whatever interests me at the time. Reading this makes me feel like that I am not doing something so terribly wrong. Thanks.

You can brew and make just as good of coffee on the Right Coast as the Left Coast. I live near San Francisco and I tell you it's hard to find a good cup of joe because nearly every roaster burns their beans. I am like you...I like brewing the good stuff at home.

I use the Solis Maestro at home. When I am on the road I pack my manual Zassenhaus burr grinder. A good grinder really makes a difference. I used to think it was just the coffee and then later learned that you can ruin great coffee with a crappy grinder.

I love the stove top moka pots. I have 3 or 4 of them. This summer while camping on the Oregon coast I found a beautiful 20 year old moka at a thrift store for $3 and it was never used. It still had the labels on it! I was having trouble making decent coffee on cold morning while camping. I like the small Melita single cup drip brewers. However, my coffee was often cold because it was in the 40's outside while brewing it. The Moka pot solved my coffee problems!

Have you ever tried roasting your own coffee beans in a hot air popper? Oh my gosh! It's hard to go back to stuff that is on the shelves.

I like your attitude, and reading about your "method" of affiliate marketing is like a breath of fresh air!
