Sankt Gallen Beer of Japan: Black Ivory Coffee and Elephants (Elephas maximus indicus) in Thailand

The English translation of the French original in the comment box below is as follows:
"1. The Indian elephant (*Elephas indicus*). It has an elongated skull, a concave forehead, and molar teeth with crowns marked by undulating transverse bands. It appears to grow larger and be more docile than the African elephant. Its tusks grow more slowly and do not become as large. Its ears are much smaller. It is possible that the elephants of Africa's east coast belong to the same species."

Sankt Gallen Beer of Japan: Black Ivory Coffee and Elephants (Elephas maximus indicus) in Thailand

The computer crashed afore I communicated another component of my comment below.

The last line on page 148 and the first six lines on page 149 detail the Cuvier description as follows:
"1. L’éléphant des Indes. (Elephas indicus.) Qui a le crâne alongé, le front concave, et les dents molaires marquées sur leur couronne de rubans transverses ondoyans. Il paroît qu'il devient plus grand et qu'il est plus docile que celui d'Afrique. Ses défenses poussent moins vite, et deviennent moins grosses. Ses oreilles sont beaucoup plus petites. Il se pourroit que les éléphans de la côte orientale d'Afrique fussent de la même espèce."

Sankt Gallen Beer of Japan: Black Ivory Coffee and Elephants (Elephas maximus indicus) in Thailand

The scientific-classification Elephas maximus indicus derives from Georges Cuvier (Jean Léopold Nicolas Frédéric, baron Cuvier; Wed., Aug. 23, 1769-Sun., May 13, 1832) in the year 1798.

We encounter the Cuvier explanation in his article Elephas indicus on pages 148-149 of Tableau elementaire de l'histoire naturelle des animaux ("Elementary table of the natural history of animals").

Giant Pandas (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) and Green Organic Panda Dung Tea of Sichuan Province in China

The computer crashed afore I conveyed another component of my comment below.

Giant pandas are solitary apart mating, parenting and succeeding as cubs.

The younger cubs communicate food and sleeping configurations through scent-marking and through vocalizations!

Trung Nguyen Gourmet Fox and Weasel Coffees: Asian Civets, Vietnamese Beans, and World Markets

The last part of the fourth section advises us of elevational overlaps of Asian common palm civets with "Black coffee (Coffea excelsa) cultivation up to 2,460.63 feet (750 meters) above sea level; Robust coffee (Coffea canephora) exploitation at 1,640.42 – 2,296.59 feet (500 – 700 meters) above sea level; Arabian (Coffea arabica) production at 2,624.67+ feet (800+ meters) above sea level."

Black- and robust-coffee exploitation are both actualized to 2,296.59-foot (750-meter) altitudes even as Arabian-coffee exploitation assumes no overlapping actualization what with actualities at 2,624.67-plus-foot (800-plus-meter) altitudes.

Do black- or robust- or Arabian-coffee beans delight Asian-common palm-civet diets equally or do Asian-common palm civets defer to one particular-specied bean or to two particular-specied beans?

Film Review of Curly Top: Shirley Temple in 1935 Musical

The computer crashed afore I communicated another component of my comment below.

Shirley Temple began in year 1934 with a weekly pay of $1,000 for her even as her mother commenced at a weekly pay of $250.

Film Review of Curly Top: Shirley Temple in 1935 Musical

For those asking about the Shirley-Temple child-actress salary, online sources describe her as the highest-paid actor/actress by year 1938.

Online information estimates her money-making endeavors at more than $307,014.

That figure gives her annual salary in that year. It ignores her royalties from such Shirley-Temple merchandise as Shirley-Temple doll and Shirley-Temple tea set.

Philosophy for Gardeners: a review

Thank you for your comment below in answer to my previous observation and question.

Gourds, grapes, peaches and pomegranates are so aromatic, attractive, hydrating and nourishing.

Now how might they matter the most to an Epicurean?

Would fresh eats work or would they warrant baking, cooking, juice-ing, wine-ing?

Use of Art in 20th Wartime Propaganda

CHOOK for chicken is not a commonly used term in England as far as I am aware . I know Australians use it but I have not heard it here. We are North Westerners though. It might prevail elsewhere.

Zazzle Educational Posters

Your persuasive, pretty product line puts black or blue type on blue background, green on green and orange on orange.

Would such stronger colors as black and red or such weaker colors as gray work in any, no or particular poster sizes?

Use of Art in 20th Wartime Propaganda

The Wikipedia article on victory gardens in first-world-war Canada and the United States and on second-world-war Australia, Britain and the United States has a reminiscence from a Londoner who hailed, for victory gardens with war-unavailable artificial fertilizers, the natural fertilizers of bomb-site lime; chimney soot; "chook and rabbit" pen's manure and old bedding; and lawn-mowing wood ash.

Online information equates "chook" with chicken.

Is that a common word on the 21st-century Atlantic east-pond side?

Masked Palm Civets (Paguma larvata): Non-Ringtails of North India, Southeast Asia, South China

The genus-specied-subspecied name Paguma larvata chichingensis carries the subspecies name chichingensis for Chiching, Taiwan.

The name chichingensis draws upon that Chiching region and the Latin suffix -ēnsis ("from, of").

Sankt Gallen Beer of Japan: Black Ivory Coffee and Elephants (Elephas maximus indicus) in Thailand

The scientific-classification Elephas maximus maximus comes to us from Cal Linnaeus (Mon., May 23, 1707-Sat., Jan. 10, 1778).

The 10th edition of Systema Naturae ("A General System of Nature"), deemed as published Sun., Jan. 1, 1758, domiciles the afore-designated genus-specied-subspecied name.
