I don't know much about adsense, but they did send me a check for over $100 last month, so I think I need to start paying attention.
I need a crash course tho. Anybody wanna make a new wizzleeeee??
do i need to do anything other than use my regular number?
My graph went straight up yesterday! Zoooooooooooom! I think that is good news and has to be wizzley.

Hi petunia,
to make AdSense work, it is enough to enter your ID on Wizzley in your settings. However, if you want to precisely track your income from Wizzley, you may create a custom channel and enter this ID into the AdSense channel field in your Wizzley settings.
Also, you may want to register for free with Google Analytics: I believe there is no better tools for observing readers and income than that. It can be incorporated into your Wizzley account, too, *and* additionally Analytics can be linked with your AdSense account - it's awesome!!
Cheers,
Simon

Hi Joan,
I will make an article about how to set up a channel on Adsense to track your Wizzley account, and also how to make url channels to track each article. Probably take me a couple of days. :)

Simon what url do we use for Google Analytics? I have it for my own sites and things like hubpages but it is one of the things that always confuses me

Paul - I simply added wizzley.com as a new account to my main Google Analytics account and then used the account-specific UA-6372615 (example) for my Wizzley settings. GA then shows all MY pages.
Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

Hi Simon/Chef,
I've added a new profile for Wizzley on Google Analytics. I just put wizzley.com as the url and I've added the profile ID for this to my Wizzley settings. It currently says "Tracking not installed" over on my Analytics account. (With Blogger I had to add in a script). Will this update automatically or have I gone wrong somewhere?
Thanks!

Hi WordCustard,
entering the ID is enough. The Analytics code is created on the fly. It may take a few hours until Analytics discovers the tracking. Usually this is done by 1-2 hours. If it's not working till tomorrow, something might be wrong with the entered ID. Let us know if it's not working, and we'll gladly assist!
Cheers

Does it make a difference if I use www.wizzley.com vs wizzley.com?

Why not put our regular address in there, Thom? I don't understand the question. Maybe there is some kind of significance to your question that I don't have any knowledge of. Has happened before. LOL Many times. Perhaps someone else can help?

Thanks for the reply. I was just asking because I had put the www address in and haven't seen any traffic come through adsense as of yet. I put the non www version in over the weekend and still haven't seen any traffic. I realize my traffic is currently very minimal, but hopefully it will start showing up so I know it is working.

Thom, did you make it as a CUSTOM channel? It needs to be set up as a custom channel, NOT a URL channel and then the number is placed into the channel box here at Wizzley.
