Thanks Mira.  I'll check it out later today.

Number 52, with the highest rating, is our own pixabay.com (owned by the German half of Wizzley's owners).

Excellent Chefkeem. I did not know that Pixabay and Wizzley had shared ownership.

Hi Frank,

yes, Simon and Hans founded Pixabay a few years ago. Both live in Germany.

Actually, the other half of Wizzley owners is German, too. Both Anne and I were born and raised in Germany, and we eventually emigrated to the US.

Greetings from Austin, Texas!

Keem

Pixabay seems to have grown quite a bit since I last visited! It's pretty amazing. I just searched for "sunflowers" and the results are wonderful.

What I would like pixabay to do is to accept payments by means other than paypal. I don't use paypal for payments, and I would like to reward the photographers.Could you pass this on to the owners.

The owners read wizzley forum posts. And you're not the only one with that kind of request. I guess they're thinking about it.

Yay... I love Pixabay and use it frequently.  I also try to promote their wonderful photos on Twitter.  It has certainly grown quickly... with a wonderful variety of images of all kinds.

I agree. Pixabay has grown so much. One thing that distinguishes Pixabay is the original photos. I was very pleased that the online news outlet I began writing for has Pixabay as a recommended site for images. They have subscriptions to AP, Getty and Shutterstock but say if you cannot find what you need there, to go to Pixabay. THAT is incredible recognition.

Thanks for posting this list!
