Instant Pot or Instapot The Modern Day Pressure Cooker Review

I watched infomercials to get as much information about instant pressure cookers before I bought my first.  Infomercials offer lots of tutorials by way of quick demos.  I thought if after watching how instapots worked and felt could do it myself I would buy one.

I fell in love with the idea and thought I could make good use of an instapot.  I don't have a large kitchen with lots of space and so I found the all in one aspect of the instant pot alluring.

Having a kitchen with little space made the all in one Instant Pot very appealing.  This trendy little kitchen gadget replaces 7 appliances of similar size.  The trade off is great, I keep my instant pot on my kitchen counter, it has a place of honor because I use it practically everyday.

There is no guess work when it comes to cooking a wide variety of dishes.

The Instant Pot has taken care of all the cooking variations and cook times.

The many ways to cook the vast array of recipes imaginable are all programmed, all you will do is choose the cook method.

Look below for the cook panel selections offered with the pot I bought.

Note: this instant pot comes with easy to follow directions, although by looking at the panel it is self explanatory for people like me who like to wing it, for others full directions are available.

We are having a ball cooking without the time commitment and clean up.  The instant pot is perfect for instant gratification.

When making vegetable beef soup I toss beef and diced onions into the pot, select the meat setting, cook for 15 minutes, remove lid add all the vegetable, broth and or tomato juice (I like to use V-8 for vegetable soup) and cook again on soup, steam or simmer and we have fantastic soup in no time.  The instapot keeps it warm with the warming function.
