Here is what you get in this set:
* The Imperia Pasta Machine. This is the main gadget made from chrome plated steel. It comes with a secure "C" clamp allowing you to fix it to the table where you are making pasta, and has a detachable rotating handle. It has six different settings for thickness, so you can make a quarter inch wide fetuccine for example, or tagliatelli or lasagna sheets.
* An attachment for making and filling ravioli
* An attachment for making macaroni and spaghetti
* Two wooden scoops
* One pasta roller
* One Pasta brush
* Instruction booklet with recipes
It has always been possible to buy additional attachments for your Imperia, but this set really includes all a modern pasta maker would need in a single box, and they are happy to gift wrap the box as well.
I've found the Imperia easier to use than other pasta machines on the market. One thing I like about it is how solidly made it is - it feels indestructible and I'm pretty sure it will last me a lifetime. It's easy to clean too - all you need to do is wipe it down after you have finished making your pasta (don't put it in water as you will rust the cutters).
My tip for getting the best out of this machine: let the pasta sheet dry a little and dust it with flour before you put it through the cutters. It goes through much easier and doesn't stick.
